Wintrust Bank is looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial senior level banker to join our Wealth Services team located in our downtown Chicago Loop office. The right individual will have 7-10 years of experience cultivating new client relationships and actively strengthening existing client relationships through customized banking and lending solutions.

Core Responsibilities include:

This specific role collaborates with related internal partners across all lines of business to identify and bring focus to the lending and deposit needs of private clients.

  • Maintain and develop existing portfolio by assessing and supporting all banking and customized lending solution needs of high net worth clients with the ultimate goal of profitable growth.

  • Explore new opportunities to develop relationships through creative solutions that can be both credit and non-credit and also through leveraging other business partners.

  • Negotiate proper loan structure and effectively cross sell products

  • Maintains comprehensive understanding of current lending products offered in the market and keeps informed of all relevant industry trends and practices.

  • Ensure consistency in deal structuring to bridge client needs to appropriate risk mitigation through detailed analysis and underwriting of credit. Responsibilities may include presenting at Loan Committee and acting as quarterback to drive deals through the underwriting and closing process.

  • Maintain properly documented files and manage renewals and collection efforts on past dues and defaulted loans

  • Collaborate with peers, and mentor junior team members, as part of a team to ensure delivery of superior client service.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience developing and managing relationships with high net worth clients plus hands-on experience in applying deep credit expertise, working knowledge of investment portfolios and trust solutions.

  • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment, introducing the appropriate partners and suite of investment, trust and banking solutions to high net worth individuals, families and institutions.

  • Ability to apply credit expertise, identify risk and complete necessary analysis and documentation to achieve credit actions

  • Formal credit training a plus.

  • College Degree / Business, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Office Admin/Receptionist responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsibilities * Greet and assist tenants and visitors, in a friendly and efficient manner, leaving a positive first impression. * Answer incoming calls in the Property Management Office and redirect to appropiate personnel. * Monitor and manage building work order system and redirect work order tickets to appropiate service group. * Take ownership of the work space to ensure cleanliness and comfort. * Act as a primary resource for tenant and visitor inquiries regarding building related questions. * Assist with deliveries of meals, packages, etc. * Effectively utilize access control systems, visitor management systems and CCTV systems as needed. * Identify all tenants and/or visitors upon arrival. * Ensure visitors and vendors are properly signed in prior to accessing the building. * Monitor security cameras that are within the facility. * Respond to incidents including property emergencies. * Ability to stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time. * Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages. * Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty. * Provide assistance with administrative duties and special projects as needed. Qualifications Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2 years prior satisfactory employment in a front desk/admin role or directly related experience. Must be at least 20 years of age. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Ability to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois PERC, including state accredited training requirements. Language Skills: Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Bi-lingual considered a plus. Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint). Other Qualifications: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Must maintain a working telephone number though which we can contact you. Physical Demands: The physical demands are based on the contract and must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A list of these job duties is inclusive of, but not limited to: candidates must be able to stand for extended periods of time; be able to lift, push, and/or pull at least 50 lbs.; Salary & Benefits: Compensation is between $15.00 and $17.00 per hour based on experience, plus paid time off and paid holidays.We are offering a sign-on bonus of $250.00 with this position. The bonus will be paid in one lump sum in a separate check once you have been employed with Titan for six (6) months. Benefits are provided by the local 25 S.E.I.U. Welfare Fund. Under this plan, you have health coverage through Union Health Service, Inc (UHS). As long as you are under the care of a Union Health Service physician, you have 100% coverage of expenses at no cost to you.
