The VP of the Strategic Transformation Center (STC) is a key executive responsible for leading and driving the organization's enterprise-wide transformation efforts. As the visionary leader of the STC, this role is critical in shaping the strategic direction, prioritizing initiatives, and coordinating cross-functional collaboration to deliver transformative outcomes. The VP acts as the primary point of contact for the transformation program, interfacing with executive leadership and the Board to ensure transparency and secure the necessary support. Additionally, this role is responsible for setting transformation objectives, monitoring progress, and resolving mission-critical roadblocks to keep the program on track. Ultimately, the VP, Strategic Transformation Center is accountable for guiding the organization's strategic transformation journey and enabling the successful implementation of new value-creating initiatives.

Responsibilities

Guides the Overall Strategic Transformation:

  • Serves as a visionary leader for the Strategic Transformation Center (STC) team, ensuring high-quality delivery, adherence to deadlines, and execution against strategic theme goals.

  • Shapes the overall vision and roadmap for the enterprise-wide transformation program.

  • Drives cross-functional alignment and collaboration to advance the transformation.

Evaluates and Prioritizes Strategic Initiatives:

  • Facilitates the process to identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic initiatives that advance the organization's enterprise strategy and create new value.

  • Assesses the business impact, feasibility, and interdependencies of proposed initiatives.

  • Makes recommendations on which initiatives to pursue based on strategic fit and organizational capacity.

Coordinates Across Workstreams and Manages Interdependencies:

  • Identifies critical interdependencies across different strategic initiatives.

  • Builds connections between teams to increase efficiency and drive synergies.

  • Facilitates coordination and information sharing to optimize transformation efforts.

Resolves Mission-Critical Roadblocks:

  • Partners with strategic theme leaders to evaluate and resolve critical risks or issues as needed.

  • Escalates unresolved risks and issues to the STC executive sponsor for resolution.

  • Proactively identifies and mitigates potential roadblocks to transformation success.

Sets Transformation Objectives:

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to set transformation objectives and target milestone timelines.

  • Ensures the transformation program remains on track to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Aligns stakeholders around a shared vision and set of goals for the transformation.

Monitors Progress on Transformation Objectives & Roadmap:

  • Works with the STC core team to monitor transformation progress and navigate organizational complexities.

  • Executes on agreed-upon milestones and adjusts plans as needed to adapt to changing circumstances.

  • Tracks and reports on key performance indicators to measure the success of the transformation.

Interfaces with Executives on Transformation Progress:

  • Serves as the primary executive point of contact for the transformation program.

  • Provides regular updates to leadership and the Board on the progress of the transformation.

  • Fields questions and escalates issues to ensure transparency and executive-level support.

Supports Change Management:

  • Develops and implements strategies to actively drive change across teams.

  • Collaborates with HR to support the successful implementation of transformation initiatives.

  • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability during the transformation.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field

  • Preferred: Master's degree in business administration (MBA), organizational leadership, or a similar advanced degree

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in strategic transformation, organizational change management, or business operations

  • Demonstrated track record of leading large-scale, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives from concept to successful implementation

  • Extensive experience in project/program management, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management

  • Deep understanding of business operations, strategy development, and driving organizational change

  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities

  • Proven track record of driving cross-functional collaboration and alignment

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Change management expertise and the ability to navigate organizational complexities

  • Deep understanding of business operations and the ability to connect initiatives to strategic priorities

The base pay range provided for this role reflects our good faith compensation estimate at the time of posting.
