Purpose/Objective:

A customer driven role, with strong emphasis on providing exciting stellar service to internal and external clients. Originates services, refers and retains a variety of Small Business loan relationships, both secured and unsecured. Actively participates in business development activities to cross sell services and products from other lines of business within the bank. Coaches and Mentors team members in the credit process and credit quality

Key Accountabilities:

  • Executes diagnostic calling program to self-originate a variety of Small Business loans in accordance with bank policies and revenue objective's. Responsible for retention and growth of assigned loan portfolio, with an emphasis on proactive client contact and cross-sell. 25%
  • Exhibiting stellar service skills, the Business Banking Officer using a diagnostic services and sales process, Identifies and actively cross-sells the full suite of bank products, making referrals to other lines of business to generate interest and non-interest income within specified goals including, but not limited to Berkshire Insurance, Wealth Management, Cash Management, and Merchant Processing. 30%
  • Works within their assigned retail branches and geographic markets in joint calling efforts with Branch Managers to uncover lending and cross sell opportunities. 35%
  • Engages in Networking events and business social organizations, such as Chambers of Commerce, to build upon relationships and brand of the bank within the business community. 10%
  • Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one's duties.

Education:

  • BS Degree in Business, Economics or Finance, or equivalent financial experience

Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience as a commercial lender

  • Stellar customer service experience to include process driven outbound calling

  • Proven track record of working in partnership to achieve goals

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong computer and analytical skills

  • Stellar customer service, communication and presentation skills

Job Summary: The VP of Operations (VPO) is responsible for ensuring that each club exemplifies the company's culture and values, achieves the desired financial results, and for the flawless execution of company sales programs in place for each club location. Work with Marketing in order to develop measurable and specific sales and marketing efforts on a consistent basis. Work with all General and Fitness Managers to ensure club profitability. Manage, hire, and train GM's and FM's Evaluate club performance in sales and KPI's by ensuring that each General Manager completes and reviews weekly productivity reports. Provide additional coaching when needed to meet these goals and address unsatisfactory performance promptly and appropriately. Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness. Model and manage effective supervision to drive sales by consistently delivering exceptional customer service and ensure each club is immaculate and staffed appropriately Analyze and monitor the sales and expense figures for each club location, provide feedback and make recommendations for improvement in order to ensure that club profitability is maximized and present district sales for feedback and recommendations. Develop and implement sales training for all levels, including all new hires and continuing education for employees of all positions- Management, Front desk and Personal Trainers. Provide recommendations to management for existing and new growth opportunities and market insights. Partner with management to influence future divisional growth strategies. Create member feedback tools and develop action plans for improvement. Understand the competitive health club industry landscape within the Districts and communicate opportunities.
