Arbor, a real estate investment trust that invests in a diversified portfolio of multifamily and commercial real estate-related loans and other real estate-related assets has a career opportunity within our Uniondale, New York office for a Vice President within Arbor's Asset Management department. The VP, Securitization & Reporting works in concert with the asset management department for the coordination of all reporting to CLO investors, warehouse lenders and internal senior management. Additionally, the individual will work closely with Arbor's Securitization, Treasury and Legal departments and with external accountants and placement agencies on the issuance of all CLO's.
The VP, Securitization & Reporting will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Quarterly Review of Investor Newsletters for all loans financed within Arbor's CLO's. Ensure accuracy of reporting and timely delivery to Arbor's Securitization Department.
Quarterly preparation of all reporting to warehouse lenders and ensure compliance with warehouse lines loan covenants.
Asset Management lead for all new issuance and wind down of existing CLO's. Responsibilities include preparation of Term Sheets for all "Top Ten" assets, review of data tapes, Due Diligence Questionnaires ("DDQ's") and Reps & Warranties ("R&W's").
Timely completion of all Rating Agency Confirmation ("RAC") memos.
Liaison with rating agencies and preparation of responses to all rating agencies inquiries and annual questionnaires.
Review of quarterly Asset Management Reports for delivery to senior management.
Monitor post-closing obligations and ensure borrower compliance with all Loan Agreement terms and conditions.
Track all loan modifications to ensure timely and accurate reporting to rating agencies.
Preparation of all reporting for the quarterly valuation process to include Monitored Asset report, Related Party Transaction ("RPT") Memo, Disclosure Committee Documentation, Asset Summaries and Impairment Schedule.
Annual review of the Asset Management Department's policies and procedures.
Education: Bachelor Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or Business; Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years related Commercial Real Estate, Securitization and Asset Management Experience.
Expert knowledge and understanding the loan securitization process.
Excellent organization, team building, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and within group environments.
Significant experience in management roles and influencing senior partners.
Communicate effectively with all staffing levels ranging from analysts to senior management.
Ability to build and develop constructive relationships across the organization and with external groups.
Travel: Approximately 10%
