Responsibilities

The Salesforce Effectiveness Manager will be responsible for implementing a strong discipline and cultural change across the commercial bank organization and business teams to ensure that prospects and new deals are accurately captured and consistently entered into Salesforce by RMs and their team. You will provide oversight to the origination team to input timely and complete data and to capture and monitor RM calling activity. You will be responsible for weekly, monthly and adhoc reporting to Executive Management and committees.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building out an efficient "center of excellence" with respect to how the sales and deal team utilize Salesforce as a system of record. The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Partnering with senior leadership to design, improve, and motivate the sales organization for more effective SF usage and coverage, as applicable Responsible for providing support and ongoing SF training to RMs, RM Associates, Sales Reps ,regional Sales managers and any other users. Providing financial and strategic support for senior leadership teams, business leaders and regional sales managers Creating key measurement tools to drive productivity analysis around key performance indicators including accurate and complete recording of opportunities, deal staging, deal team coverage, deal profitability and conversions/outcomes, for prospects, clients and/or sales channels (sponsors, vendors, lessors, etc). Leading cross functional teams tasked with simplification and reducing "throwaway work" in the deal process Being a key contributor on project team that puts together management presentations used in strategic delivery of business goals & results Performing related duties and special projects as assigned Modifying or developing processes to address any potential SOX, Internal Audit, or external auditor issues including source data used for regulatory reporting of unbooked pipeline commitments Developing data gathering to create efficiencies in regulatory reporting Identifying, as needed, Technology enhancement opportunities and work with the teams on requirements gathering, documentation, UAT, training and implementation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum 7 years of diverse experience in commercial banking; cash flow, asset-backed, leasing, or real estate transactions (not required to have experience in all products, but preferred) at an OCC-regulated bank Expert user of Salesforce High attention to detail and data Experience in leading change. developing new culture and process adoption; helped successfully transform an organization Varied experience and roles held across commercial banking Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to convey the right level of detail to various levels of management or audiences
