Seeking a highly motivated aggressive seller to join a growing, independent performance media agency with offices across the United States. The Sales Executive will play a critical role in prospecting, pitching and closing new business to create dramatic growth of revenues and profits. The Sales Executive will work with senior leadership to garner and manage the resources necessary to successfully win new accounts. This position is responsible for developing a strategic sales plan based on company goals that will promote sales growth.
Apply understanding, and demonstrate in-depth knowledge, of Performance Media including all Media Management, DRTV, Digital, SEO, SEM, offerings.
Identify plan of action for mining of at least four new categories (1 per quarter)
Produce quarterly competitive analysis.
Leverage industry experience in developing marketing strategies, creating business development opportunities and generating measurable and sustained growth
Identification, assessment, development, and closing of new business development opportunities, including all research and due diligence
Liaise with senior leadership and corporate resources to effectively present/pitch direct response opportunities to a wide variety of constituents including consumer product marketing companies, corporate advertisers, Fortune 1000 and other target organizations.
Build RFP and creds decks and be a major contributor to finalized deck for the pitch- including all research done, leading the work on the PowerPoint presentation and finalizing it with the senior leadership team.
Participate in industry events and tradeshows.
Possess and use an intimate understanding of Prospect's business, industry, competitive environment and objectives to develop plans and to set goals.
Provide regular information to company management by summarizing sales activity, reporting business opportunities, results, trends, and competitive information.
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a skilled advertising marketer in a media or related environment.
Expert knowledge of the advertising industry (both TV and digital) and a strong professional network of media, marketing and brand advertising professionals.
Must demonstrate thorough understanding of research and data, particularly in the video landscape.
Must demonstrate a track record of proven sales leadership and a collaborative mindset in a fast-paced environment.
Must be an articulate professional with excellent oral and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in the ability to positively and creatively influence change and direction within professional environments.
This position requires up to 35% of regularly scheduled travel.
