  • As a member of the Gartner Digital Markets leadership team, the Sales leader will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sales plan.

  • Determine the appropriate sizing and deployment of the sales team across programs (PPC/PPL), locations (Austin, Arlington, Barcelona) and target countries where vendors are HQ

  • Establish/refine our sales 'process' and training to support that sales process

  • Help with the decisions we will need to make on our CRM system for Digital Markets

  • Establish better prospect targeting and pipeline management for the BD function in particular

  • Help continually refine our variance/incentive compensation plans for the BD and CS teams

  • Develop and manage operating budgets, headcount and hiring plan.

  • Staff development and coaching: partners with BD & CS Leaders and teams to improve capability and skill set.

  • Actively manage team performance as well as the hiring and onboarding of the team. Establish a strong culture of performance, where the best remain engaged and thrive in the environment.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.

  • Focused responsibility for driving implementation of new sales methodologies and management disciplines

  • Set goals, establish metrics, measure attainment of those goals, and encourage / enforce compliance through means at his or her disposal which may include, but are not limited to, financial incentives, management support, recognition incentives, and personal credibility

  • Directs market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.

  • Bachelor' s degree required, MBA is a plus

  • 10 years of overall sales experience in the technology industry, including 5+ years of sales operations leadership

  • Proven track record of superior sales performance within teams managed

  • Demonstrated success in identifying key business issues and selling solutions to resolve issues

  • Demonstrated ability to build executive relationships and advise clients

  • Ability to lead, drive, and develop team members

  • Experience of managing managers

We're looking for a senior copywriter to join our Brand Creative team. Specifically, we're seeking expertise with extensive brand and marketing experience, passion for ideas regardless of the channel, and a knack for all things digital. You'll play a key role in conceptualizing, writing, and editing brand content to craft messaging that is consistent across all platforms. We need someone as committed to teamwork as they are to their copy. Someone who cares about the customer journey and the vendor experience and will, most importantly, strive to make it better. What You Will do: * Bring our brands to life by being a storyteller to engage key audiences * Work collaboratively with the Creative Director and other leaders to develop and execute key concepts and copy direction for key initiatives * Influence buyers by delivering clear messages across all channels * Translate our brand strategy and project creative briefs into compelling, branded copy * Work closely with designers to ensure copy and visual design work together * Work closely with our Brand team to further define and develop our brand messaging framework and guidelines * Creates innovative solutions to support Marketing, Sales and communication strategies * Works as thought-leader and brand storyteller, bringing refreshing ideas for projects of all sizes * Utilize talents with core focus on writing and content creation for digital, social and web content * Maintain current knowledge of marketing strategies and trends * Understands, embraces and evolves each unique Brand voice with consistency * Write display copy (advertising headlines, marketing copy) and provide guidance for long-format materials (email campaigns) * Keeps commitments by delivering exceptional work on-time What You Will Need: * At least 10 years relevant work experience with demonstrated success.
