We are seeking an entrepreneurial, high-energy VP, Sales to join our team and build the Arcadia Power sales function from the ground up. The VP, Sales is a new position that will play an instrumental, transformational role in our revenue generation & business innovation, making an immediate impact by sourcing and closing big deals while also creating the long-term foundation for groundbreaking partnerships and revenue streams that dont exist in the industry today. In addition to being a smart, creative, proven sales leader, the ideal candidate is intimately familiar with & well-networked in the energy ecosystem; thrives on ambiguity, complexity, and the chance to create with no blueprint; and can simultaneously execute on sales targets while crafting a vision and strategy for the future. This role reports to the COO and is based in Washington, D.C. with frequent travel expected & the potential to work remote for the right candidate. The VP, Sales will be a highly visible, key senior leadership position for the company and will work particularly closely with the executive, product, marketing, and legal teams as well as many others across the organization. The VP, Sales will, over time, build and lead a lean team of sales, strategy, and account management professionals, and should have a history of effectively managing direct reports and motivating them to achieve sales goals.
