Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Generic Injectable (GxRx) (Institutional)
The Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Generic Injectable (GxRx) (Institutional) will have full P&L responsibility for the Injectable Generic Rx Institutional business portfolio. This position is responsible for establishing sales targets, and developing and executing strategies to meet targets and promote sales growth and customer satisfaction. This position is directly responsible for leading managers and field sales team members in the Injectable Generic Rx business and indirectly responsible for all employees within this business unit. This position operates in a professional office environment, based in the U.S. Corporate Office in Princeton, NJ. Some travel up to 20% is required. The position reports directly to the CEO, North America.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and executes annual sales and marketing plans in support of organization strategy and objectives.
Recommends and directs implementation and execution of sales and marketing strategies based on market, portfolio and competitor analysis.
Develops and implements pricing strategies and manages multiple channel selling strategies.
Ensures communications are coordinated and supports sales plan objectives.
Builds, develops and manages sales, portfolio and pricing and contracts teams capable of carrying out required sales, product launch, and pricing initiatives.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS/ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE TO DO THE JOB:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales & Marketing or a related field is required; MBA or advance degree preferred.
Injectable , Generics (Institutional) experience is a MUST.
Minimum of 15-20 years' experience, including P&L responsibility.
Strong business acumen, results driven and strategic thinking skills required
Demonstrated leadership experience partnering at multiple organizational levels and across remote teams
Good relationship management, and verbal /written communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
