We are inviting applications for the role of VP, Retirement Operations, Banking and Capital Markets

In this role, you will be responsible for leading Retirement Operations

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the retirement services operations team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute plans for optimizing wealth operations efficiency.

  • Articulate and tailor value proposition based on the needs identified for client and differentiation of Genpact.

  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of capital markets to drive innovative solutions and identify opportunities for business growth.

  • Stay abreast of retirement planning regulations, including ERISA, IRS guidelines, and other relevant laws.

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Harness digital tools and technologies to enhance trade operations, implementing automation and data analytics solutions.

  • Collaborate for new deal process including solutioning, pricing, due diligence, transition, and stabilization.

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives within the retirement domain

  • Be a senior partner concern point for resolving customer & internal issues.

  • Ability to engage senior client management on offerings, emerging issues in focus sectors, lead project scope discussions and provide insightful recommendations.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within retirement services operations, with a strong understanding of retirement plans (US Retirements, Defined Contributions, Defined Benefits, Non-Qualified plans, pension administration, and compliance activities)

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., ASPPA, CRPS, QKA, QPA) preferred.

  • Have an understanding of Retirement Tech stack across contact center and back-office space and past transformation experience

  • Ability to establish relationships with CXO level partners

  • Excellent understanding of ERISA regulations and IRS guidelines related to retirement plans.

  • Comprehensive understanding of retirement E2E plan administration processes, including Plan transition, enrollment, contribution processing, distribution, compliance testing and reconciliation.

  • Experience in overseeing day-to-day plan administration tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Knowledge of fiduciary duties and responsibilities associated with managing retirement plans.

  • Ability to implement and monitor processes that adhere to fiduciary standards and minimize risks

  • Familiarity with investment options commonly associated with retirement plans, including mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and other investment vehicle

  • Executive-level discernment and understanding of business issues across multiple focus sectors.

  • Demonstrated success in business development and revenue generation

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and senior leadership.
