ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced VP Project Management in our Annapolis, MD office who will manage the lifecycle of interdisciplinary projects from inception through completion.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Manage and lead interdisciplinary, group-wide projects

  • Interface with all stakeholders including customers, end-users, on/offshore engineering teams, product management, legal, sales, business development and executives

  • Manage budgetary constriants and ensure approporate staffing requests are made

  • Assist with ISO compliance, audits and certification for ISO9001 and ISO27001

  • Apply PMI techniques to projects and work in tandem with stakeholders to drive projects forward through predetermined path

  • Maintain documentation in Microsoft Project, CRM and SharePoint as required

  • Track all project milestones for all projects including billing milestones

  • Ensure on-going contact with the project's service providers to ensure timely activity, integration and efficient use of resources to meet requirements

  • Take pro-active or corrective action

  • Examine technical and technology documentation for completeness and latest versions

EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior project management role

  • Previous mobile application development experience desired

  • Experience leading software development projects using both Agile and Waterfall SDLC

  • PMP Certification a plus

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, CRM, SharePoint and the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Well-spoken individual capable of taking complete ownership of assigned projects

  • Experienced and skilled at leading conference calls, customer meetings, internal meetings, etc. all to assure successful project completion

  • Organized and conscientious with the ability to see project through to successful completion

  • Knowledge of budgets, purchasing, and accounting procedure

  • Ability to implement, develop and coordinate comprehensive schedules

  • Ability to organize/prioritize work

  • Customer relationship management experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

EDUCATION

  • Engineering or Business or equivalent experience in an associated field

Accountabilities & Responsibilities * Conducts full-cycle consultative sales (prospecting, scheduling and attending meetings, product demonstrations, in services, closing and follow-up ).
