Role Overview

The VP, Product Management, will be responsible for delivering products that give our community financial institutions the ability to dominate their markets. Innovative, competitive products are the key to Kasasa's growth. You will maintain and expand current products and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects while embodying the Patch Values. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand the problems and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will define product release requirements to the technology teams and help ensure that the product delivered is of high quality and meets our customers' needs. You will build your 36 month roadmap. You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer, and providing historical metrics showing the products value in the sales cycle. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, working with the sales channel and key customers. You will drive process improvement in the product organization, working with peers and their teams to align to a common model for requirements intake, design, development, QA, and implementation.

This VP, Product Management role is strategic, not tactical. The other organizations will support your strategic efforts; you won't be supporting their tactical tasks.

Responsibilities

1.Infuse the Patch Values into your work ethic, every day and every interaction.

2.Translate corporate strategic vision into actionable product initiatives within your product set

3.Communicate velocity, efficiency, risk, and outcomes to the Executive Team

4.Provide cohesion across the product organization with a focus on creating a delivery mindset, aligning processes, and fostering cross-product collaboration

5.Direct cross-functional activities to maintain and expand current product offerings, and to add new products and features

6.Act as Voice of the Customer/Consumer to champion product innovation throughout Kasasa in your domain

7.Develop business cases and market analysis for product development and enhancements

8.Prioritize feature and enhancement requests based on business value/ROI

9.Conduct competitive, market and customer research (qualitative and quantitative) to define and prioritize development and/or integration efforts



  1. Define metrics, report and track product performance and iterate

  2. Evaluate third party vendors/partners for potential alliances/integration into Kasasa product offering(s)

  3. Partner with Sales, Marketing, and other departments to determine overall needs and support efforts; including demo product and marketing materials

  4. Support the production and implementations team on product launches, upgrades, and ongoing support

  5. Provide written release notes upon each sprint release

  6. Contribute to annual operating budget planning and budget adherence

  7. P&L Responsibilities

  8. Bottom line: You are the CEO of your product. You own it top to bottom, end to end.

  9. Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

1.Bachelor's degree

2.7+ years of experience

3.World-class product management skills

7.Intellectual horsepower (highly analytical & strategic)

We offer a hybrid work model where you'll join us in the office for at least three full workdays each week, allowing for meaningful in-person connections and teamwork. The remaining two days offer the option to work remotely, providing you with the balance and autonomy to excel in your role.

  7. You will be asked to participate in culture related meetings, activities, and events. We firmly believe that building culture and teamwork in a company requires extra intentionality, and thus your participation and engagement isn't just encouraged - it is required and part of your role responsibilities.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Sitting for extended periods of time; approximately 5-6 hours per day

  • Simultaneous use of hand, wrist and fingers

  • Daily operation of standard office equipment

  • Frequent use of oral communication to perform work

  • Lifts and moves up to 20 pounds occasionally
