About the role

We are recently looking to expand in the Bay Area and this would be one of the initial exciting role which we are looking to hire for. For this critical position, we are looking for someone who can build the team from scratch and has passion to work with a growing startup in AI and Quantum computing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets

  • Discovering new sales opportunities and fostering client relationships.

  • Establishing sales targets and forecasting sales volumes

  • Ensuring timely recognition and reward for top achievers and implementing performance management actions when needed

  • Ensuring the proper use of CRM databases and tools to track performance

  • Leading the team to achieve high performance through strong mentorship, coaching, and guidance.

  • Building strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders

  • Analyzing sales performance data and implementing strategies for improvement

  • Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor analysis

  • Collaborating with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and customer needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field

  • 15+ years of sales experience with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.

  • At least 5 years of experience in an AI company.

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.

  • You have successfully built, scaled, and led high-performing sales teams.

  • Strong analytical, strategic planning skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • You have a strong experience in consultative sales and possess the ability to prospect and manage senior-level relationships

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and market conditions.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work independently and with other functional teams (DEV, Marketing, PM, etc.))

  • You are a strategic thinker & problem solver with the ability to be hands-on

Preferred Qualifications

  • Combination of a degree in Science/Engineering and an MBA.

  • Technical Acumen: Understanding quantum computing and its applications is a plus. Ability to grasp and communicate technical concepts effectively.
