Our client is looking for an exceptional VP of Sales- Western Region located in the Bay Area with an entrepreneurial spirit to be an integral part of their sales team in the U.S. The successful candidate will have (5) years of experience managing Sales Teams (7-10 Account Executives) and (5) years of experience selling Enterprise SaaS Application Software, preferably in the Call Center / CCaaS Software space!.


Our Client offers one of the most complete product lines in the Call / Contact Center industry (both cloud and premise solutions) and, most importantly, one of the most aggressive Compensation Plans. In addition, they provide every component necessary to give your Sales Team a complete Customer Experience (CX) offering for their prospects!


The Client likes to hire VP's with experience at companies like: Aspect, Avaya, Cisco, 8x8, Five9, Fuze, Genesys, Nice inContact, Noble Systems, Ring Central, ShoreTel, Talkdesk, Twilio, etc. in their background. If you have successfully managed Sales Teams for any of these companies or their competitors, we would like to speak with you!

Position

Overview:


The VP of Sales- West is responsible for managing a Sales Team of (7-10) Account Executives achieving an annual revenue target, providing accurate business forecasts, professionally representing the company in the market and maintaining a high level of satisfaction with peers, salespeople, customers and partners. This is a key management role in the company!

If you have managed Sales Teams using the MEDDIC Sale Process, that is a big +!


Responsibilities:

  • Achieve the annual revenue target.
  • Help salespeople professionally introduce and represent the company to prospects, customers and partners.
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts of bookings and revenue.
  • Help salespeople maintain every customer as a reference account
  • Help salespeople establish the company in a new large sales territory
  • Help salespeople prospect, qualify and close sales opportunities to enterprise-level companies and service providers.
  • Provide regular and meaningful insights to Senior Management and Marketing on market trends, product requirements and competition.
  • Be a good Teammate. Support your Team in developing a culture that likes to win, have fun and values mutual success.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a track record of managing Sales Teams that have achieved annual quotas in the Enterprise Application Software space, preferably in the Call Center / CCaaS space.
  • 5+ years of experience selling Call Center / CCaaS, CX, ERP, CRM, Security, Big Data / Analytics, BI / DW Software.
  • Ability to help salespeople present and communicate with all levels of the customer: Technical, Financial & Executive.
  • Comfortable using Salesforce and Strategic Selling Methodologies, especially MEDDIC.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and presentation skills.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing start-up environment.
  • Balances great ambition and drive with a high level integrity and honesty
  • Fun to be around! Personable
  • Experience selling Enterprise Application / Cloud solutions, preferably in Call Center / CCaaS space is a must.
  • Own the Western Area territory!

  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree or Equivalent experience.

Base Salary: $200,000.00 - $210,000.00 (DOE)


On-Target-Earnings: $375,000.00 - $425,000.00 (NO Cap) + Full Benefits Package + All Expenses (Car) + Upward Mobility


Locations: Anywhere in Bay Area


Travel: 50%
