Position Summary

Responsible for the sales management of Scientific Games' Retail Solutions to lottery accounts. Work with lottery account leaders to develop business plans, growth strategies, and deployment recommendations. Responsible for achieving sales goals aligned to the annual budget and long-range plan.

Job Description

  • Represent Company products and services to assigned lottery accounts.

  • Responsible for developing incremental sales strategies across all SG products in assigned accounts.

  • Create a sales plans aligned to annual budget and long-range plan.

  • Qualify sales leads to build the sales funnel.

  • Manage the sales funnel and provide updates to business stake holders.

  • Conduct sales presentations with high level product demonstrations as part of the sales cycle.

  • Create a ROI model for Scientific Games and the assigned lottery in collaboration with the business development team and finance.

  • Present and achieve approval for contract pricing.

  • Identify retailers by jurisdiction for each sales cycle.

  • Work with assigned RVP for account contracting.

  • Conduct sales hand-off to the account management and business development teams as part of the contracting process.

  • Provide feedback to Product Management as needed.

  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with client and is responsible for overall client relationship.

  • Provide the customer with industry trends and information as part of the sales cycle.

  • Direct business capture activities including the development of opportunity plans and leading the business team through strategy.

  • Interact cross-functionally within the company, participates in new product development forums, GR, Finance, Senior Management.

  • Maintain relationship with other stakeholders e.g. retailers, beneficiaries as needed.

  • Monitor contract obligations and procedures as well as customer expectations for compliance.

  • Oversees and directs the work of directors, managers, and their subordinates. Larger scope; more strategic impact than Director.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of job-related experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated sales management experience in the Lottery Industry.

  • Minimum of 5 years either working in or with the retail industry.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to develop, write, and manage business plans.

  • Excellent presentation skills for both small and large audiences.

  • Experience in marketing research and analysis.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to negotiate contracts with outside vendors on Company and/or customer behalf.

  • Ability to work effectively with senior-level Company management as well as lottery management and state government officials.

  • Be a self-starter and able to work well independently or in a group environment.

  • Travel required.

  • Master's Degree preferred.
