The role:
An experienced VP of Engineering is needed to lead its blockchain and crypto economic development.
You will be responsible for architecting, designing, and building a highly disruptive marketplace for journalism based on the Ethereum blockchain.
You will lead technical strategy, roadmap, implementation, and performance.
You will also manage and grow the technical team over time through recruiting, training, and mentorship.

You should have a working knowledge of blockchain technology and token design
You must have a strong background for architecting data-centric distributed or decentralized systems, and experience with Ethereum Solidity smart contracts.
You must be an incredibly hands-on, entrepreneurial, and willing to roll up your sleeves whenever necessary.
You should thrive as a leader both through internal management as well as external community engagement. You should be ambitious, strategic, analytical, creative, reliable, open-minded, and passionate.
Working knowledge of existing blockchain technologies such as Ethereum, Solidity smart contracts, the Ethereum Virtual Machine, LLL, and IPFS.
Working familiarity with blockchain technology and the architecture of decentralized networks
Open source, APIs, interoperability, platforms
Data architecture, networking, system scalability and security
Product management, agile methodology, sprint planning, performance measurement
Recruiting, managing, and leading remote workforces and large developer communities
Experience running open communities a plus

More information on Dignity Health is available at Responsibilities Job Summary - VP of Business Transformation Provide strategic leadership for the development and day-to-day operations of the Transformation Office and its related activities across the enterprise. Align business strategy with identified areas of the organization and create momentum to provide sustainability. Work closely with functional leaders and key executives to ensure value capture and accountability in selected focus service lines, processes or functions Core Duties: * Collaborate with workgroup leads, Transformation Office team and the Enterprise Project Management Office to create action plans, along with realization schedules and implementation timelines to support the translation of key strategic initiatives from the strategic plan into operation. * Management and oversight of the Transformation Office portfolio, including project management, process re-engineering/improvement, resource identification/deployment and change management. Provide guidance to senior leadership on prioritization. * In collaboration with the Chief Transformation Officer, provide regular reports to the Executive Leadership Team, as well as report out during the Monthly Operating Review and selected board meetings. * Identify, evaluate and determine appropriateness of leading edge/best practices to support the design and deployment of effective programs/process to accomplish goals. Master's degree (or an equivalent combination of education and/or additional job-related experience) is preferred.
