Middle Market Product Readiness Leader

We are currently seeking an individual to become part of Arch Insurance's Corporate Underwriting organization to lead cross-functional efforts to file products across the newly acquired Middle Market and Entertainment platforms. This role will report into the EVP, Corporate Underwriting. The successful candidate's primary responsibilities will be coordinating work across different functional areas to ensure that all necessary products across multiple lines of business are approved and ready for use in line with integration timelines for the acquired business.

The individual in this role will have strong leadership, collaboration, and relationship skills necessary to drive execution of the product efforts various functions such as underwriting, product development, compliance, actuary, operations, technology, and other enterprise functions. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic and growing part of Arch Insurance.

The primary role of the individual is to manage the entire product portfolio of countrywide filings across multiple lines of business, addressing all contingencies required to meet the program timeframes. Coordinating a team of technical resources, the Product Readiness Leader will have the responsibility to ensure the best and most expedient are introduced. This includes seeing all products and filings through the steps of implementation and testing. As the Middle Market and Entertainment businesses grow, this role will continue to support the product needs, coordinating updates and revisions and capitalizing on the line of business product management across the organization.

Key Competencies / Technical Skills:

  • Ability to assimilate dynamic information from multiple sources to adapt prioritization of workload across all involved functional areas.

  • Proven ability to take initiative; identify potential issues and propose paths to arrive at solutions.

  • Deep knowledge of admitted P&C products.

  • Experience working in highly regulated environments & working with remote resources.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and experience in presenting to senior audiences.

  • Highly collaborative, routinely bringing the right expertise to the table for consistent and quality customer service.

  • Ability to use data and metrics to identify opportunities and inform recommendations.

  • Strong results-orientation, with the desire and drive required to accomplish stated objectives.

  • Thrives in fast-paced environment with high performance expectations.

Education / Experience:

  • 10+ years Product or Project Management working with Underwriting Teams within the P&C Insurance Industry

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience required.

For individuals assigned or hired to work in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Jersey City, NJ; New York State; and/or Washington State, the base salary range is listed below. This range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.

$150,000 - $200,000

  • Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above range may be modified in the future
