The Leader in this role will be responsible for managing day to day operations of the Citi's Private Bank Reporting and Project team , as well as manage stakeholder relationships autonomously. The incumbent would represent Private Bank Operations in their daily interactions with include external stakeholders, including, Service, Investment Finance, RISK, Legal, Auditors as well as other loan operation teams, and the front office business managers that we support.
Manage Citi's Private Bank Reporting and Project team and provide Leadership to CPB teams and members.
Creatively problem solve and manage escalations, while maintaining Operational Control. Furthermore act as a Liaison between Internal/External Audit groups and Operation teams.
Ensure daily processing of all Reports and Metrics in timely manner.
Experience in managing projects life-cycle, engineering Business review documents, communicating requirements to the technology teams and Business partners, Creating and executing test cases, test plans and test scripts in UAT and Production support after the project release. Projects maybe of a technical and/or non-technical in nature.
Ensure plans for assigned projects include work breakdown, cost/budget and communication, risk, quality and resource plans. Measure project performance utilizing appropriate tools and techniques to monitor progress and provide updates to all stakeholders timely.
Lead and direct Operational Transformation initiatives with measurable results.
Responsible for ensuring all activity is conducted in accordance with audit policy, procedure and appropriate controls. Act as a first line of control for any Operational processes.
Preferred candidate must possess hand on technical, advanced Microsoft excel and report designing skills. Experience in using and maintaining SharePoint sites.
Loans experience a must, preferred candidate must understand Accounting flows related to Loan/Commitment transactions and knowledge of Interest/fee calculations.
Provide feedback to management of any potential client or control issues within the Operations
Identify process or procedural improvements within the Ops group with both internal and external partners to create efficiencies. Lead and Participate in Process deep-dives to analysis process deficiencies, systemic enhancements or control gaps.
Train and develop new staff and team members as Subject matter experts for any Reporting or Projects functions.
Establish/maintain strong working relationships w/ Operations, Technology, Investment Finance, RISK, Legal, Compliance and Operational Controls.
Lead in mid-year and annual team member reviews.
Maintain a strong performance management track record within the team rooted in accountability and reward based on performance.
Demonstrate exceptional emotional maturity in high stress decision-making situations, while keeping Client delivery and Operational Control as priorities.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders via conference call, screen share and WebEx to resolve issues and escalations between businesses across multiple time zones.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience within Private Bank or Capital Markets Operations
Proficient working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and experience with web based applications required.
Project management experience required
Loans and Accounting knowledge required
Experience with identifying and improving processes within an operations environment
Ability to create, adjust and maintain performance metrics
Proven record of accuracy, effective time management and prioritization skills
Must have a team first attitude and embrace a change environment

Must be able to partner with COE units to gain an effective resolution to complex issues
