We are looking for a Vice President, IT Engineering and Innovation, who will be a member of our leadership team and responsible for technical execution, and for building the engineering organization of Gunner through strategic operational efficiencies and optimization, driven by automation. 

This dynamic individual will be at the forefront of designing and developing Gunner’s proprietary and award winning website as Gunner becomes National. The VP will work independently, and collaborate with external teams,  and the intention is to build a team around this individual.

Requirements

What you will do:

• Build, Lead and Manage the engineering team, providing guidance, and support to foster our high-performance culture.
• Develop and execute the overall engineering strategy in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
• Manage the budget for the engineering team, optimizing resource allocation and identifying cost savings opportunities. 
• Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on projects, performance metrics, and key milestones.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on our business and making recommendations for adoption.

What you will bring:  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and management abilities, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams.
• Excellent technical expertise in software and hardware development, including proficiency in programming languages, system architecture, and deployment methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues and drive innovation.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to align engineering and development initiatives with overall company goals.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies, with the ability to assess their potential impact and make informed recommendations. 

Benefits

• Base Salary: $140,000 to $160,000 to start, depending on experience, with stock options.
