What does a great VP of IT Project Services do?
As the VP of Implementation, you will report directly to the President of Digital Channels. You will be responsible for the Professional Services & Implementations teams in the areas of deployment, product customizations, and project management, while ensuring customer success. You will be engaged in top-level involvement with our client base that includes providing a tailored experience across online, mobile and tablet banking channels with a wide range of financial institutions. You will be empowered to drive our client implementations with the goal of both maximizing the efficient use of resources and client satisfaction. You will drive client change management and develop and implement standard engagement methodologies, including consulting frameworks, tools and staff development for the on-boarding of customers and their businesses.
Youre the kind of person who: Is passionate about customer satisfaction but understands how to balance customer needs with the operation of the software platform. You are able to clearly articulate client needs internally, and represent the company professionally externally. You have a proven track record of growing the professional services backbone of a software company that interacts with a highly dynamic and demanding market.

Leading a 150-person organization, $130M in revenue and 5 direct reports.
Owning the resource planning, cross-company visibility, and profitability model for professional services.
Developing a scalable implementation model to support a rapidly growing client base.
Acting as executive-level customer escalation contact for customer issues, representing the company and client needs professionally, while supporting and championing his/her staff.
Developing and owning an internal knowledge management process to facilitate internal training and support models.
Working within the company to ensure that all operational functions are aligned with company objectives and client needs.
Monitoring and messaging internal expectations on key business metrics such as support responsiveness, delivery of service, and client satisfaction.
Prioritizing professional service projects by value-add, ROI potential, and impact on resources.
Ensuring all operational staff develop deep business and product expertise.
Ensuring tight management, customer communications, and expectation setting for customer deployments.

Building Businesses: Demonstrated track-record of growing a business in a complex environment by focusing on development, sales, product delivery and client services.
Change Leadership : A history of personally influencing behavioral and philosophical change among business leaders.
Self-Sufficient : Able to use support groups to scale execution but also able to personally develop practical tactical tools and templates when the need arises.
Ownership : Experience and comfort level taking ownership for the full impact a division while having direct responsibility for all aspects of delivery.
Relationship Building : Successfully builds strong working relationships from a geographical distance. Possesses the ability to identify and understand the unique communication styles appropriate for a wide range of clients & internal teams and have been successful building relationships/personal credibility with each respective group.
Detail Orientation : An ability and comfort level processing high volume of work while maintaining an eye for the detail required that eliminates rework.
Agility : Ability to deal with ambiguity, tight timelines, multiple priorities, and demanding environments, in a fast-moving, constantly changing environment.
