Overview Evaluate, recommend, and maintain an ongoing thesis on third party investment options in real assets and private equity. Maintain a "farm team" of managers in each respective sub-asset class for expedient replacement of terminated or closed managers.

Proactively document work and update theses on managers covered in BPW due diligence templates as new information is encountered and new opinions developed. Schedule and record periodic update meetings with approved managers as part of the ongoing due diligence process. Maintain SharePoint site with updated due diligence, manager marketing materials, and recorded update calls for covered managers.

Build a consistent pipeline of private investments in real assets and private equity so wealth advisors consistently have options available and clients can maintain target weights as funds mature and distribute. Serve as a resource to stakeholders across the wealth management organization in areas of coverage. Answer client and advisor questions, join client and prospect calls, and help the operations team connect with new manager relationships to understand subscription and purchase logistics.

Support the functional manager in preparing for monthly calls, committee meetings, and other ad hoc projects. May work remotely pursuant to First Citizens' Remote Work Guidelines policy.

The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $120,000 to $160,680 per year.

The position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay. Qualifications Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Investing, or a related field of study plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or four (4) years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst, Equity Research, or related occupation.

Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Investing, or a related field of study plus two (2) years in the job offered or two (2) years as a Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst, Equity Research, or related occupation. Position requires experience performing both investment and operational due diligence on drawdown vehicles in private markets (real estate and private equity) at a multi-family office, fund of funds, or consulting firm. Requires experience with project management.

Requires experience with software products including Microsoft Office, Excel, Zoom, and Factset. Requires experience interviewing experienced portfolio managers about their strategy, team, and firm. May work remotely pursuant to First Citizens' Remote Work Guidelines policy.
