Job Title: Vice President, Human Resources - West Coast

What You Will Learn:
The Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for all HR generalist activities for L'Oréal West, the first strategic beauty company headquarters on the West Coast. These activities include employee development, recruitment, Simplicity initiatives, employee relations, driving culture and building L'Oreal's external reputation on the West Coast. The Vice President will act as the HR Lead position to anticipate and optimize the West Coast Headquarter's employee needs to align with the overall business strategy. General responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas:
Talent Development and Management: Career and succession planning, mobility and ensuring that training and development needs are met.
Employee Development: Strategically manage careers on an individual basis by supporting development plans, help to define training opportunities and assisting with the Performance Appraisal process for personal and professional growth.
Recruitment: Recruit top talents and approve candidates for interview, participate in interview process and make recommendations with line management for final decisions.
HR Policies and Programs: Assure compliance while helping to facilitate panier of programs focusing on strategic change, training, team building, diversity, etc.
Integration: Oversee the integration of all new employees within population and make recommendations on program improvements.
Succession Planning: Develop collective succession plans, in conjunction with Business Partner leaders and prepare for Talent Meeting Reviews
Employee Relations: Translate work environment vision, provide expert advice and coaching to employees and management and contribute to creation of employee events.
Organizational Effectiveness: Help develop the organization in line with business objectives and contribute to organizational strategy, inclusive of establishing synergies and shared resources.
Support all Simplicity & Pulse results and strategies with Leaders.
Change Management: Create One West Culture aligned with L'Oréal HR Strategy, optimizing the new hybrid ways of working.
Build L'Oreal West external reputation as a top employer.
Cross Functional HR Partner: Partner with Centers of Excellence to drive cross-brand talent development strategies.
What We Are Looking For:
Job Requirements:
Undergraduate degree, preferred focus in Psychology, Org Dev, HR, etc.
Prior HR management experience of 10+ years
Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint (with ability to learn internal systems)
Experience in handling complex ER issues.
Flexible, adaptable, ability to handle fast pace and operate with ambiguity
Results orientation
High degree of executive maturity with ability to influence
Good presentation/facilitation skills
10-15% travel required
