Purpose of Job* THE BUSINESS TITLE FOR THIS ROLE WILL BE VP, HEAD OF P&C DIGITAL *
The Head of P&C Digital will be responsible for leading the strategy and execution of digital capabilities for USAA's Property & Casualty Insurance Group. They will work with P&C Leadership to enhance performance across all digital channels and to help optimize acquisition, servicing, billing and claims. They will partner with peers to ensure alignment of enterprise strategy, enterprise digital experiences and digital member experience across multiple channels. Creates, develops and sustains business relationships internally with marketing, P&C Experience Management and P&C Sales & Service Performance and other supporting functions. Serving as a subject matter expert on digital solutions, acquisition and member lifecycle, this leader will develop strategy and integrate capabilities that transform digital experience and delivery across insurance at USAA.
Use a data driven approach to design and deliver P&C digital capabilities across the organization by providing overall leadership to the analysis, design, development, and delivery of all digital solutions and applications.
Lead with a focus on increasing digital acquisition, enhancing digital member experience, migrating members to a purely digital channel, enabling better business solutions & tools.
Create a strategic vision and roadmap for P&C digital transformation and enhanced member experience across all channels.
Assess, validate, and design digital products, services, and solutions. Manage the intake and prioritization of enhancements to existing digital solutions while designing the digital roadmap of the future. Create more business opportunities that are driven by technology.
Create a framework and plan for driving the convergence of digital channels and technologies across all of P&C's services.
Educate the organization on emerging digital trends, opportunities, competitive threats, and new technologies that can continue to differentiate P&C at USAA.
Collaborate with the full enterprise technology team to ensure their roadmap is supportive and aligned with the overall P&C digital strategy and broader business objectives.
Assess the current digital organization and design a plan of continuous improvement and training.
Ensure world-class member experience through top-tier interface design. Implement and maintain leading user experience methodologies, processes, standards, and technologies.
Ensure rigorous performance measurement/management procedures are in place to support agile development and quick-turnaround product/service enhancements.
Builds and sustains Enterprise relationships, acting as the single Digital point of contact for all internal partners/customers.
Recruits and develops top tier digital and technology talent to continually maintain and transform online presence.
Bachelor's Degree Required (4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a Degree.)
10 or more years of progressive related digital experience in product acquisition, deepening or servicing experience in a digital environment developing strategies, managing major initiatives and delivering results within a complex matrix environment
8 or more years of people leadership experience in building, managing and/or developing high performing teams required
Experience collaborating with key resources and stakeholders, influencing decisions and managing work to achieve strategic goals required
Executive-level business acumen in the areas of business operations, industry practices and emerging trends required
Solid digital acquisition background with knowledge of external channels, on site and mobile app acquisition, and data targeting and pathing capabilities
Experience integrating P&C industry expertise with deep technical and operational transformation capabilities
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate analytical information to a non-technical audience
Exceptional ability to harness and leverage data to guide day to day decision making
Strong technological background; experience working with new platforms
Experience working in an agile software development framework
