We're looking to hire a talented VP Global Sales reporting to the SVP, Revenue. You will lead a team of sales professionals who work within the territory. You will collaborate with key internal stakeholders to refine the corporate sales strategy across regions. You will be thoughtful and strategic in how we engage our prospects and customers 1:1 and at scale. And you will be looked upon to lead from the front.

You will:

  • Recruit, develop, and enable a team of experienced enterprise sales executives

  • Build the Enterprise Sales organization to become best-in-class

  • Lead by example, and earn "followership" from your fast-growing team.

  • Optimize the entire sales process, from lead to go-live

  • Develop and execute enterprise sales strategies to target, sign, and implement key customers.

  • Participate in relevant industry events to help drive leads and customer acquisition as well as promote the Papaya brand.

  • Engage at the Executive level with enterprise accounts looking to modernize and simplify their payroll and global workforce needs.

  • Accurately forecast the business

  • Meet and exceed monthly quarterly, and annual sales goals

  • Oversee and cultivate sales through outbound pipeline generation and inbound need qualification

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant B2B Sales leadership experience within the Human Capital Management (HCM), payroll, fintech, or payments industries.

  • Proven track record of successfully scaling sales organizations in high-growth environments.

  • Consistent track record of managing high-performing Sales teams that meet/exceed sales targets.

  • Ability to understand technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple products.

  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements across the sales life cycle and drive efficiencies with sales tools.

  • Experience building B2B Go-To-Market sales strategies across key industry verticals and customer segments.

  • Comfortable working with and managing remote teams spread across multiple time zones and countries.

  • A servant leader who has demonstrated his/her commitment to hiring, developing, and retaining top talent.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred - a sense of humor and hutzpah required.
