QPS seeks a Vice President & Global Head of Preclinical and Bioanalytical Services to take responsibility for the overall management of budget and on-going projects in the Preclinical and Bioanalysis Services BD department. We are looking for a strategic thinker/influencer with a strong focus on development and results.

The Job
As our VP & Global Head of Preclinical and Bioanalytical Services, you will:
Assume overall accountability for ensuring the design, coordination, execution and management of Preclinical and Bioanalysis Services Business Development efforts.
Ensure departmental staffing, and training and development of staff meets company objectives and requirements.
Serve as active member of the Senior Leadership Team and contribute to strategic planning and company-wide management decisions.
Participate in the integration of existing and newly acquired QPS departments and businesses.
Present QPS Preclinical and Bioanalysis Services BD updates to the Company and Board of Directors when requested.

Requirements
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Experience managing both Preclinical and Bioanalysis business development with in-depth knowledge of QPS' science, capabilities and space (CRO, Pharmaceutical/Biotech, drug development)
Demonstrated relationship building ability, with proven leadership and strategic planning skills
Proven problem-solving skills, and "solution oriented"
Demonstrated sales and sales management success
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to exercise good judgment when dealing with clients, employees and the public
Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations. A self-starter and team-player
Education / Experience
B.S. degree in relevant scientific discipline or business, or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the job.
M.S., PhD, or MBA in same disciplines preferred
Minimum of 15 years in a CRO or pharmaceutical/biotech sales or operations with a focus on Preclinical and Bioanalysis Services.
Minimum of ten years sales experience
Minimum of five years of Sales Management experience in CRO industry
