Job Description
D.A. Davidson, an employee-owned Financial Services firm, is seeking a dynamic and driven leader to manage Davidson's Financial Services Representative (FSR)Team. The FSR Manager will communicate team capabilities internally and educate Advisors on the opportunity for increased productivity resulting from a disciplined process of book segregation and referral of appropriate clients.
In this producing role, the FSR Manager will act as a player-coach leading the FSR team to contribute to the firm's profitability goals and objectives, support firm productivity measurements, and deliver exceptional client service.
Experience and Skills
Qualifications:
Required industry exams: Series 7, 66 (or combination of Series 63 and 65) and 9 and 10 (or combination of Series 24, 4, and 53).
5+ years licensed brokerage experience required.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business-related field strongly preferred.
Thorough knowledge of securities industry rules and regulations.
Demonstrated leadership, management and motivational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients, colleagues and direct reports.
Principal Duties:
Review and approve FSR activity, client documentation and communication, and asset movement as defined by Davidson's current policy and procedure manual ("WSPs"); Branch Guide to Operations ("BGO"); and Branch Standardization Guidelines.
Monitor day-to-day work activities and metrics, including but not limited to, pro-active client outreach and closing/transferring out accounts as appropriate.
Monitor work activities for potential problems. Work with compliance to reduce client complaints. Notify the Co-Director of Advisor Solutions as necessary. Follow through to resolution.
Execute quarterly performance reviews, goal setting, and bonus recommendations.
Track and analyze the metrics of the individual FSRs and the program as a whole. Identify and address successes and deficiencies.
Manages and coach FSRs on current business practices, meeting department metrics and advises on leveraging tools and best practices.

The potential pay range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000. The compensation offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis considering a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the skills, relevant work experience, and geographic location of each specific candidate. Additional incentive compensation may be earned based on performance.
