The Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis is the top financial analysis position in the Company. The position's primary responsibility is to analyze and evaluate the financial performance and profile of Perdue Farms and it's individual businesses on both an actual and forecasted basis.

The role is also responsible for identifying and implementing enhanced financial reporting practices, including the implementation of new automated tools. This role would also support the strategic planning and business development and disposition activities of the Company.

The VP fo Financial Planning & Analysis position will located at Perdue Farms Corporate Headquarters in Salisbury, MD.1. Against baselines of Forecast, Plan and Prior Year, responsible for providing analysis of financial performance on a monthly and year-to-date basis for the purpose of identifying variances from expected performance, risks to projected performance and opportunities for improvement.
2.Supports the CFO with Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow analysis including the trending of results, gauging performance against competitors and developing gap analysis.
3.Supporting the VP of Strategic Planning, leads the financial activities associated with the Company's annual strategic planning process, including establishing timelines and coordinating the preparation of related materials.
4.Provides support for Treasury-related activities including the Company's Credit Facility and related credit amendments, analysis of covenant compliance on an actual and forecasted basis, and analysis of capital structure and potential debt restructuring.
5.Evaluates and participates in transactions involving acquisitions, divestitures and/or joint ventures.
6.Assists Corporate Accounting in the monthly and year-end close processes and directs and oversees the accuracy, preparation and analysis of the monthly financial package.
7.Oversees the preparation of financial presentations for the Company's Board of Directors, Lenders and Family Meetings.
8.Oversees the review and preparation of materials for the Company's Capital Committee meetings.
9.Establishes priorities and provides oversight to the Financial Reporting Systems team, including the development of accurate, timely and meaningful reporting at both the Corporate and business unit level.REQUIRED: Masters in Business Administration with CPA and/or CMA. In addition, the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis must have a minimum of 15+ years experience leading financial functions in diversified roles, preferably in a Fortune 500 Company. Experience in protein, consumer products or foods-related industries is a plus.
