Position Summary:

Under the direction of the 1st Vice President/ Director of Retail Banking Operations, the Electronic Banking Administrator is responsible for daily Automated Clearing House (ACH) Balancing with customer origination files via online banking and maintaining ACH Balancing with the Federal Reserve Bank. This person will act as a player-coach on all ACH activities and lead a team of specialists. In this position the incumbent will support and institute new cash management products to meet customer needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for daily Automated Clearing House (ACH) file originations for online banking which includes the handling processing of ACH system processors and Federal Reserve Bank.

  • ACH Balancing with Federal Reserve Bank including Same Day ACH settlements.

  • Correct usage of ACH SEC codes, disputes and timely returns.

  • ACH bank reconciliations and completing all finance functions in accordance with standard procedures applicable to the organization.

  • Perform yearly ACH Risk Assessment.

  • Always maintain accurate records and cash reconciliations current.

  • Provide management with statistical ACH data reporting.

  • Work with vendors and outside service providers to ensure operational performance standards are maintained.

  • Provide Remote Deposit Capture ongoing support to clients and provide reporting and monitoring of accounts using Remote Deposit Capture.

  • Develop user manuals and installation instruction reference guides for all electronic banking services supported by Deposit Operations.


  • 7 10 years banking experience, particularly in direct-contact customer services, bank cash management (ACH, Remote Deposit Capture, etc.), and related products/procedure experience and knowledge.

  • AAP Certification required.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in the filed of banking or finance.

  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of federal/state laws regarding bank operations including NACHA and the FFIEC Guidance as it pertains to electronic banking.

  • Knowledge of and experience with Fiserv Premier and/or Jack Henry Core Banking Platforms.


  • Excellent communication skills and team building skills.

  • Detail oriented and excellent leadership qualities.

  • Proficient MS Office Tools and Excel.

  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work with minimal direction and demonstrate proactive problem-solving ability.
