VP & Development Officer

Job Summary:

The VP & Development Officer plans, organizes and implements annual giving, major giving and planned giving programs for the benefit of Erlanger Health System and its constituent hospitals and programs.

Education:

Required:

BS Degree from an accredited college or university. De-escalation training, if applicable.

Preferred:

Master's Degree

Experience:

Required:

Five to ten years of recent progressive fund raising experience. Extensive knowledge of annual giving programs, planned giving vehicles and major gifts. The VP & Development Officer will have proven experience in managing a donor research and tracking system as well as coordinating the efforts of a network of volunteers.

Department Position Summary:

Directs all fund raising activity for Erlanger Health System and T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital.

Works with members of the Baroness Foundation and T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital Foundation Board of trustee and its committees to develop various fund raising programs including annual giving, major giving and planned giving and any capital or endowment campaigns.
