Main tasks:

Customer Insider

  • Represent Brand and lead Brand relationship for customer and relevant stakeholders to be their key partner (e.g., Head of Beauty)

  • Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders as credible business partner: senior, empowered, reliable, and helpful

  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of customer strategic objectives, priorities, shoppers, decision-making process, and KPIs

  • Core leader within the multifunctional team to drive engagement with the customer and own all commercial fundamentals (incl. supply chain and in-store execution etc.) that align with customer

Team Leader

  • Lead Brand sales team and drive coordination of support functions to deliver on cross-functional goals (e.g., eNam, In-store execution)
  • Coach and train Brand NAMs, CDMs and support functions within the multi-functional teams and focus on their development plans and encouraging teamwork

Account Strategist

  • Drive growth with customer and maximize Brand's strategic opportunities through shopper insights and a beauty/category view of the customer's omni-channel strategy (in collaboration with eNAM and eComm Channel VP as appropriate)

  • Develop and execute customer strategy for Brand growth with SVP and in alignment with BBD's channel strategy

  • Lead selling through shopper insights and CRM opportunities

  • Develop and negotiate JBPs

Achiever

  • Own Customer P&L for Brand sales, shipments and profitability for brick and mortar and online

  • Track Customer's business and their own Brand sales and forecasting to proactively address demand and gaps and to drive consumption

  • Responsible for managing Brand trade budget at the customer level

Main interfaces:

  • Brand Sales SVP

  • Sales team: NAMs/CDMs/BAs

  • Multifunctional team support: eNAM, In-store execution, Customer Marketing, Shopper Insights, ACMs, Supply, Finance

  • BBD

  • Beauty head account SVPs and buyers

Measures of success:

  • Deliver sales target and brand sales fundamentals, including sell in/sell out, customer contribution, net profit, OTIF, retail execution, distribution points, promo ROI in a sustainable way

  • 12 -18 month growth horizon

  • Forecast accuracy

  • eComm penetration for category and acct

  • Multifunctional team performance

  • Talent development

  • Team 360 feedback

  • Advantage/ Kantar scores

  • Retailer scorecard

Qualifications/experience:

  • Exceptional track record of account relationship management

  • Interact effectively, including solid negotiation skills

  • Demonstrated analytical approach to business management

  • Ability to influence other functions and drive coordination across groups (even without reporting lines)

  • Ability to make decisions inline with commercial fundamentals and maximize P&L

  • Effective in motivating and developing talent

  • 10-15 years of CPG sales experience with demonstrated sales results and experience leading multi-functional teams

The Walmart Customer Supply Team Leader will be responsible for all aspects of logistics operations for Walmart and Sams Club. He/she will engage with the Walmart and Sam's Club leadership teams to ensure goals are met and execution processes are in place in order to provide consistent and reliable service throughout the supply chain. He/she is also directly responsible for building relationships and partnering with key Walmart/SAMs personnel at all levels to manage and lead CPFR replenishment, inventory management and all logistics activities. The position is based in Bentonville, Arkansas and manages a team of 3 Replenishment Analysts and 1 Forecast Analyst. This a key position in the supply chain that works closely with the planning, logistics and customer service functions in Shelton, CT. Responsibilities: * Leads and directs all aspects of Logistics Operations for Walmart and Sam's Club. This includes ensuring alignment with the strategic direction set by the Sales and leadership, and ensuring execution processes are in place to provide consistent, reliable service throughout the supply chain. * Identify, direct and align operational resources and requirements to successfully and profitably manage internal/external supply chain needs. * Create and own relationships both internally and externally with Sales Executives, Customer Executives, Supply Chain leadership and any functions that impact our service and relationship with our Customer * Ensures tactical implementation of the operational component of our customer strategies through communication and collaboration with Customer Services and Field Sales. * Provide leadership to ensure Walmart Supply attracts, develops and retains the best talent * Utilizes advanced skills to communicate matters of significant importance to the business, representing the organization to multiple internal and external constituents, negotiating issues with significant impact on the achievement of strategic objectives. * Champion within BIC supply chain to deliver customer scorecard and drive internal supply KPI's. * Coordinate and manage shipment forecast that aligns with demand planning to deliver BIC internal supply metrics. * Make recommendations for continual improvement of Walmart/SAMs and BIC replenishment strategies, processes and systems. * BS/BA in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain or BS/BA with equivalent experience. * 5-7 years of supervisory/managerial experience with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others * Supply chain/logistics functional expertise * Strong problem solving, negotiating & decision making skills, with ability to manage complex situations * Experience with various Walmart support systems, Retail Link, Host, Shiloh * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to partner with leaders of other functional areas and business partners to drive overall performance while aligning with BIC values * Able to build and sustain high performing work teams * Proven success at influencing others to deliver results and create winning team culture * Ability to multi-task and deal with continuously changing priorities Apply Today!
