VP, Compliance Product Officer - Reporting & Governance, NAM Global Functions

Serves as Global Functions product compliance risk officer for Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) responsible for governance and reporting for Finance, Risk, ESPA, Legal and CSIS, which includes supporting effective and sustainable risk management processes to help ensure compliance risk requirements and processes comply with the regulatory and policy requirements. In addition, support delivery of a risk management framework that maintains risk levels within the firm's risk appetite and protect the franchise, as well as engage with the ICRM Product and Function coverage teams, in order to partner to develop and apply Compliance Risk Management program solutions that meet the function and customer needs in a manner consistent with the Citi program framework. Primary responsibilities include governance and reporting activities for each of the Functions including credible challenge, conflict of interest reviews, data analysis and compliance reporting. Additionally will support ICRM's role in ESG compliance activities.

Responsibilities:

• Serve on a team of ICRM professionals, supporting the provision of an independent Second Line of Defense approach to risk-based governance and oversight by focusing on current, high impact compliance risks, and providing input over control effectiveness through data analysis and reporting activities.

• Utilize knowledge of data analysis techniques to analyze, quantify, and assess risks, to provide insight into new and emerging compliance issues and to identify and analyze new or emerging trends or themes.

• Clearly document the results or conclusions of data analysis in concise reports in order to provide awareness around significant or emerging risks and escalations for each of the respective Functions.

• Assisting in the design, development, delivery and maintenance of best-in-class Compliance, programs, policies and practices for ICRM.

• Providing guidance on rules and regulations relating to function operational issues, as well as providing transactional approvals and interpretation of internal compliance policies.

• ness Risk to address compliance issues which may impact the supported function/business/product.

• Assisting in the development and administration of Compliance training for the supported function/business/product.

• Researching any new reform rules and rule changes and implementing policies, procedures or other controls necessary to comply with the rules.

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies

• Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization

• Experience with data analysis techniques including advanced concepts of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as Tableau

Education:

• Bachelor's degree; experience in compliance, legal or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof; strong working knowledge of function/business/product supported and the related operations and financial requirements; Preferred: MBA or JD a plus
