The primary purpose of this position is to develop and implement the Product Category (PC) Sales strategy, in alignment with broader category and Integer near and long term strategic plans. Focus will be on driving and winning opportunities to grow customers based on the product management strategies. This leader will align and collaborate with Integer's other medical device Product Category Sales lead to ensure cohesive account strategies and relationships with Integer's strategic customers. Success will be measured by incumbent's effectiveness in developing strong sales talent and leadership, as well as a process-based and results-driven organization.
Reporting to the Division President, the Vice-President Sales will be responsible for the following:
Day-to-day management of the commercial team and all commercial activities to meet financial objectives (revenue, profitability and cash flow) of the Cardiac Rhythm Management & Neuromodulation business.
Establishes commercial strategy in alignment with division strategy and financial targets, and executes against them to sustain profitable growth above market
Aligning with other medical segment Commercial team and activities to insure collaboration, process consistency, and best practices.
Develops, recruits and retains talent within the Commercial team
Flexible across the USA. Vicinity of a company location preferred.
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished Commercial leader with an outstanding record of accomplishment working with large accounts and OEMs. This executive will have proven her/his ability to execute a commercial strategy flawlessly while also possessing the drive and charisma to motivate others around her/him to do the same.
While the successful candidate's background may come from a variety of industries, specific successful experience leading Commercial organizations that work with large accounts is a must. While not required, experience with the medical device outsource manufacturing industry or a similar industry would be preferred.
This individual must possess:
Understanding of how to lead and grow a business when selling into a small end market of OEMs with significant bargaining power
Depth of functional experience in commercial leadership within large organizations ($300+M)
Exposure to complex products
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with aggressive growth and profitability targets
More specifically, the ideal candidate will possess:
Exceptional Commercial, leadership and team building skills. A hands-on strategic builder/leader who has demonstrated the capability to develop and implement a successful Commercial strategy with Large Accounts/OEMs that have significant buying power.
Strong leadership qualities including a track record of achievement as an executive level commercial leader within a global innovation driven company.
Proven success in growing a business in a market with significant customer driven price pressure. Previous experience operating in industries with an emphasis on preserving margin while supplying complex products to OEMs is required.
Demonstrated success in implementing a value-based selling process to increase commercial success while maximizing growth, price and profitability
A clear understanding of what working within a highly regulated environment entails.
Ability to negotiate large and long-term supply agreements
Demonstrated success in building, developing and motivating high performing teams and effectively growing an organization capable of supporting sustained growth.
Ability to develop and implement critical commercial processes to enhance effectiveness and efficiency, metrics, KPIs, and business review cadence within the commercial and broader organization
Creativity in problem identification and resolution and a relentless drive to accomplish company goals and objectives. A can-do attitude is a must.
Exceptional communication and influencing skills with the ability and personal style to inspire confidence and work successfully with varied audiences including high-level customer contact, potential industry partners, the management team, and other employees.
A track record of positioning a large commercial organization strategically to take advantage of changing market opportunities/ challenges, and anticipate and react to competitive trends and pressures.
Proven ability to work at high-levels within OEMs/customers, and position the organization to capture value.
