As a Commercial Card Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and building new business opportunities in an assigned territory of middle-market prospects with annual revenue of $10-$500MM. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of the sales process including prospecting, sales, underwriting, implementation, and post-implementation follow-up. This position works independently with minimal supervision from the team leader. You will be expected to disrupt prospects' thinking and deliver solutions that dramatically transform their businesses.

General Responsibilities:

  • Use insight and consultative selling techniques to teach customers about their industry and offer unique perspectives on their business, which link back to Capital One's solutions

  • Design and implement sales strategies to ensure the company meets its revenue objectives

  • Coach customer stakeholders and build consensus for Capital One's solutions within their organization

  • Responsible for building new customer relationships with Capital One's commercial payments products (purchasing, travel, and electronic account payable solutions)

  • Sales lead generation through internal/external referral process, outbound marketing, and industry networking events

  • Candidate will manage multiple phases of sales cycle, including initial contact, identification of client needs, presentations/product demos, negotiation, underwriting, & implementation

  • Develops, manages and maintains relationships with any local managers from other Capital One businesses

  • Refers business appropriately to internal partners including Small Business and Middle Market

  • Maintains broad and technical product knowledge including competitor product information

  • Works independently and provide weekly reports to management

  • Maintains and updates CRM system regarding sales calls, pipelines and closed sales

Competencies:

  • Strategic thinking, communication, interpersonal influence, networking, project ownership, and workflow management skills

  • Excellent writing and oral presentation skills

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, telephone and PC Skills

  • Experience selling within treasury management or procurement, including:

  • Cash Conversion Cycle

  • Procure to Pay process

  • Accounts Payable

  • Invoice Management

  • Payment Automation

  • Corporate travel & expense management

  • Previous Experience selling web-based technology solutions

  • Consumer or Small Business Card product experience

  • Ability to work autonomously to find qualified leads and transition to sales

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or military experience

  • At least 3 years of business to business sales experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 Years of experience selling commercial card product

POSITION PURPOSE Supports aircraft Captain by ensuring safe and timely piloting of aircraft and performing other aircraft management duties. Other duties may be assigned to this position as needed._ + Provides the Captain with proper planning of each flight utilizing all applicable weather information and reports in accordance with Company policies and procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). + Determines that the aircraft is air-worthy in accordance with FARs and Company policies and procedures; completes appropriate preflight inspections. + Along with the Captain, ensures the flight is planned and fueled properly so that the flight may be conducted safely and in accordance with policies and regulations. + Safely, properly and effectively operates the aircraft during the designated period of duty in accordance with the Captain’s instruction, FARs, and Company policies and procedures. + Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the equipment operated, FARs governing the operation of equipment, and manuals, policies, procedures, and other instructions. + Notifies crew and passengers of turbulent weather conditions or any other operational factors affecting the flight. + Completes the load manifest for each flight. + Contributes to a reliable and on-time operation by assisting the Captain in meeting all report times, departure times, and minimum turn times. + While at the terminal, assists with and ensures proper handling of aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo. + Maintains regular and reliable attendance according to Company procedures and practices. + Presents a professional appearance and adheres to the Company uniform dress code. + Conducts self professionally at all times while on duty and observes the Rules of Conduct for all associates as outlined in the Flight Operations Manual, Associate Handbook and other related policies and procedures. + Continues professional training towards upgrading performance and abilities. + Performs other duties as assigned by the Company and the Captain.
