This role is fundamental in defining our path forward by bringing forth a deep understanding about Members, Prospects and Competitors. This role will partner across the organization to optimize business performance through value-add analytics and insights.
The ideal candidate will have prior Marketing and P&L experience plus deep expertise in analytics and insights.
The role requires a strong leader with a proven track record working cross-functionally with IT, Sales, Marketing Product Teams, and Finance. This leader is also committed to developing talent in order to attract and retain high energy, positive Team Members who want to serve our Members and grow our club. This role will be responsible for 5 key disciplines:
Marketing Research & Insights Member Listening Framework Modeling & Analytics Database production (creation of lists for customer journey campaigns). Data quality and governance The VP Business Insights & Analytics will formalize how the company leverages insights & analytics: You will define and lead the execution of the Insights & Analytics roadmap to enable MWGs vision and lead the delivery of data-informed marketing programs, product strategy, Member experience standards, and actionable insights across MWG Be a thought leader and trusted advisor across Marketing, Sales, Road Service and A3 to empower the most critical decisions with data and lead the data-informed culture at MWG Coach Insights & Analytics team: Oversee the design, execution, analysis and socializing of implications and recommendations of your teams projects.
Ensure internal clients are delighted with your teams services and partnership Innovate research solutions (methodology, analysis, presentation) to suit the business need Systematize studies and reporting where it is appropriate 360degree visibility (every function of the business, Member and Member perceptions and needs, and the competitive landscape,) will give you a uniquely holistic perspective. Recruit, mentor, and retain a world-class analytics and insights team of thinkers & doers (Strategy & Growth). Lead a team culture of critical thinking, creativity, innovation, experimentation, diversity, and inclusivity that aligns with MWGs core values and enriches the impact, careers, and learning opportunities across the team. Constantly learn, have a clear pulse on innovation across the enterprise, data science, and analytics communities Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Insights & Analytics, Marketing, and Financial acumen Master in cross-functional collaboration Management of vendors and agencies Comprehension of research methodologies, approaches and frameworks Knowledge and experience with analytics and survey tools Strategic problem solver who simplifies problems to their core elements and finds creative solutions.
Visionary leader with proven ability to drive for timely results Proven ability to achieve results through their team while motivating and developing future leaders Required Skills 10+ years experience in a combination of Consumer Insights experience, product management, consulting, product analytics, data-science or an equivalent field. BA/BS required, MBA preferred CPG experience Expert communicator in written and verbal form; ability to work well with executives, technologists, and able to lead and influence across all levels of the organization. Proven experience thinking out-of-the-box and solving tough strategic problems.
Strong data manipulation, product analytics, and statistical analysis (e.g. multivariate hypothesis testing, experimentation, regressions, etc.) skills. Strong visualization skills and experience with visualization (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Einstein Analytics) and product analytics tools.
