POSITION SUMMARY:

The Vice President is accountable for the successful incubation, execution and delivery of Change Healthcare's Global BPO Program through both 3rd party partners and captive development centers. This role requires tactical and strategic decision-making to support and promote the health and growth of CHC's Global delivery capabilities for internal CHC stakeholders. The candidate should Support internal Partners and Customers in a Change Management initiative to help teams approach their "Work" in a long-term scalable manner. This role will lead and be a key driver of continuous process improvement and innovation, partnering with: BU and R&D/IT Leaders, the Global Talent Organization, InfoSec, TechOps, and other teams across the organization for seamless delivery. With a mandate to transform how Change Healthcare leverages partners, contract staff and offshore talent, this candidate should adopt industry best practices to improve time-to-market, cost optimization and quality delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in BPO strategy direction/roadmap to help drive global delivery adoption

  • Cultivate and manage partner/supplier relationships to support account services and strengthen Change Healthcare business efficiencies.

  • Strong analytical abilities, negotiation skills, presentation skills and organizational/planning abilities.

  • Skilled in conflict resolution, negotiation strategies and tactics, and long-term partner relationship management.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as experience addressing an executive level audience.

  • Proven management/leadership skills with the ability to develop teams, cultivate global talent and manage third parties through SLAs and KPIs management.

  • High degree of initiative, self-motivation, and creativity with proven ability to lead a team or peers and act independently.

  • Cultural fluency, with an ability to travel, work and communicate seamlessly across various regional, country, working and company cultures.

Background:

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex, BPO solutions, on time and on budget.

  • Experience in strategizing and managing development staff from partners and staffing suppliers, to deliver solutions based on industry best practices, improving time-to-market while keeping cost effectiveness in mind.

  • Demonstrated ability to set-up development and delivery centers across multiple locations globally.

  • Enabled organizations to control costs, drive service excellence and mitigate risks to gain increased value from their partners and staffing suppliers throughout the program life cycle.

  • Enabled organizations to optimally develop, manage and control partner/supplier contracts, relationships and performance for the efficient delivery of contracted products and services.

  • Participate in technology and business strategy direction/roadmap creation to ensure alignment with partner/product selection and delivery.

  • Cultivate and manage partner/supplier relationships to support account services and strengthen Change Healthcare business efficiencies.

  • Must have proven ability to engage with large BPO organizations on behalf of CHC

Critical Skills:
15 + years of experience with the following experiential background:

  • 10 years of delivery and consulting experience; working directly with partners, clients and internal organizations.
  • 10 years of large BPO, Global Portfolio and Program Management experience within a strong-matrix organization.
  • 10 years of leadership experience working with global distributed teams.
  • 10 years of experience in providing product development services at Global Organizations.
  • 5 years of project and portfolio management experience

Education:

Master's/Bachelor's degree in business management, and/or information technology related fields of study.

The VP Chart Retrieval reports to the COO of Clinical Review and Coding and is an essential leadership role and key operational advisor. The role leads and sets strategic and operational direction for Continuous Improvement (Lean/Sigma activities and initiatives), Operational Effectiveness (Operational Metrics and Analytics), and Chart Retrieval (Call Center, Scheduling, Document Management, Field Reviewers and Training and Onboarding) . As part of this role the head of Operations is critical to delivering the overall revenue of the division (approx. $100M) and is directly responsible for $22M of direct cost. Additionally, through the Continuous Improvement and Operational Effectiveness teams, this role is ultimately responsible for all cost and therefore the EBITDA performance of the Division.
