Job Overview:

Join us as a VP, Azure Cloud Compute Manager, where you will lead our cloud transformation initiatives, driving strategic design, implementation, and optimization of our Azure and AWS platforms. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive cloud expertise to architect scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Develop an automation strategy/framework to drive an "automate everything" approach for infrastructure deployment and configuration management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead architecture, design, and deployment of MSFT platforms on-prem and cloud to ensure overall security and stability for our advisors.

  • Lead design and management of Active Directory/Azure AD infrastructure to maintain an efficient and secure user environment.

  • Lead development of enterprise automation framework that enables automated provisioning of infrastructure services.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure accurate system recovery processes.

  • Drive architecture designs with an 'automation first' approach, focusing on Infrastructure as Code.

  • Identify risks in the environment that threaten stability, resiliency, performance, and security.

  • Evaluate tools/products to resolve technology gaps and participate in application roadmap planning.

  • Build / Maintain strong partnerships with IT stakeholders including Delivery Engineering, Application Development, Architecture, Security and Operations to ensure technology investment enables/drives business strategy.

  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution production incidents and problems, minimizing impact to our advisors.

Requirements:

  • Visionary leader with a passion for innovation, deep understanding of cloud architecture best practices, and a proven track record of managing critical enterprise projects.

  • 7+ years of cloud architecture, support and deployment experience

  • Extensive Azure Service and Architecture experience: Deep knowledge of Azure services across compute, storage, networking, and databases, along with an understanding of Azure architecture principles for designing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions.

  • Extensive experience with Identity Management: Proficiency in Azure security features such as role-based access control (RBAC), Azure Security Center, and Azure Key Vault, Least-Privilege Access, coupled with expertise in Azure Active Directory (AAD) for identity and access management.

  • Proven track record of infrastructure transformation focused on infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for end-to-end infrastructure deployment automation.

Core Competencies:

  • Excellent oral and communication skills; strong executive presence.

  • Agile mindset; Possess a thorough understanding of modern work practices such as DevOps, Continuous Delivery, Agile project Delivery, Jira experience

  • Ability to convey technical solutions to the entire organization and experience working with senior leaders.

Preferences:

  • Azure DevOps and Governance: Experience with Azure DevOps services for CI/CD and infrastructure as code (IaC), along with knowledge of Azure governance concepts using Azure Policy, Azure Blueprint, and Azure Cost Management for compliance and cost control.

  • Azure Hybrid Solutions and Data Services: Understanding of hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure using Azure Arc, as well as familiarity with Azure data services for data integration, analytics, and big data processing.

  • Data security and architecture experience

  • Experience driving the development of new Azure / AD architectural patterns.

  • Muti-cloud experience specifically AZURE and AWS.

Pay Range:

$154,800-$232,200/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
