About this opportunity
Provide the leadership and management of the regional marketing organization and strategy, working closely with the regional management team and global marketing organization to define and execute the regional operating plan. Establish strategic marketing and business development vision to meet sales objectives and strengthen customer relationships, reputation, and impact of Align Technology in the Orthodontic and Dental Community. Drive strategic projects and alignment across the Americas region, including LatAm.
In this role, you will
In conjunction with marketing and key executive management, initiate and maintain relationships with all important associations and trade groups, such as, ADA, AAO, AGD to avoid single point of contact.
Own the regional strategic planning process
Downstream product management: existing products, new product launches, mix / price, utilization growth
Establish clear channel strategies (Orthos / GPs, Teens / Adults, DSO's, iTero)
Define and deliver regional consumer strategy (media, digital, PR) and increase patient conversion (patient journey, doc locator, ..)
Define and manage commercial initiatives loyalty program, promotions, pricing. Support commercial initiatives related to agreed-upon GTM strategies (special accounts, partners)
Deliver the right customer education programs to support the regional strategy and needs
Work closely with global portfolio team to help define the short and long-term product and service needs of our customers. Ensure regional needs are fully communicated and understood by global teams
Partner with Align professionals to identify and build relationships with important ad hoc doctor groups that can, and will influence sales of Align Technology products
Responsible for increasing business among existing clients as well as promoting the organization to new clients in order to meet strategic business objectives.
Build and maintain strong collaborative internal relationships across key cross-functional business units, including Sales, iTero, and global functions.
Integrate with key executives and other decision making personnel to align account opportunities and business objectives with Align's business objectives.
Represent entire business portfolio
Direct customer initiatives and special projects.
Drive key Align business objectives and lead organizational change.
Develop, maintain, and deploy reporting tools and metrics to ensure transparent views of the current activity state, progress against plan, and business impacts of the function's operations. Utilize metrics, internal/external environmental and business intelligence to provide the early identification of new business opportunities.

In this role, you'll need
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred
Minimum 15 years medical device experience required, sales management experience required
Must possess demonstrated analytical skills and thrive in a detail-oriented environment
Must be able to develop and deliver effective presentations at the C-suite level
Be able to project manage and handle multiple projects at a time
Internal corporate, project management and execution and operational experience preferred
Travel 50-75% of the time
