Automotive Sales Experience Required

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Automotive Sales experience required (minimum 1-3 years)

  • Assist customers and the sales team directly with the process of financing vehicle purchases

  • Build rapport with customers, lenders, and vendors to build a base of referrals and establish network

  • Consult and make recommendations for finance and insurance warranties to customers

  • Produce and submit accurate paperwork for customers, title work, and funding from finance sources in a timely manner

  • Achieve monthly goals and objectives

  • Meet deadlines for turning in customer paperwork to lenders and accounting

  • Secure money during vehicle transactions; turn money into accounting

  • Adhere to all local and national regulations and advise the sales team on state laws associated with purchasing a vehicle

  • Partner with service advisors to assist customers with purchasing extended warranties when needed

  • Must be able to give a proper finance and insurance menu presentation explaining warranty packages

  • Build relationships with local banks, national banks, and manufacturer representatives; conduct monthly meetings with them

  • Must have Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office products and DMS software

  • Must be detail oriented and organized to work in a fast pace environment

  • Must be a strategic thinker who will strive to find a solution for every customer

  • Must be self-motivated and a team player

  • Must understand tag and title laws; DMV

  • Must have a track record of impeccable customer service reviews

  • Must be at least eighteen years of age

  • Must have a valid driver's license and meet company MVR policy requirements

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings (background and drug test)
