Volunteer Support Specialist with Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington
Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington is seeking a Volunteer Support Specialist. This objective of this position is to support, assign, manage, and train volunteers. This person will need to be well-spoken, caring, customer service-orientation, have impeccable attention to detail, and thorough follow-through. This position requires public speaking, training groups of people, and frequent local travel.

The Position: We're looking for a Volunteer Support Specialist. This is a full-time position, starting at $17.21/hour, $18.09 if English/Spanish Bilingual.

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Public speaking skills
Training and presentation skills
Volunteer management and/or customer relationship management experience
Willing to travel throughout service area to attend member recruiting events and meetings
Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, as needed
English/Spanish Bilingual, preferred
Manage volunteers including selection, placement, supervision, and ongoing support
Interpret and enforce policies and procedures with volunteers
Assist in the development of volunteer resources
Attend volunteer team meetings to provide guidance and support
The Location: This position works out of our Eugene Service Center. This role requires significant travel to attend events, meet with leads, and volunteers.
