Limited Full Time (32-37 Hours a week)


Plan, organize, recruit and direct youth and family volunteer service opportunities to compliment and enhance the adult volunteer program. Provide clerical and supportive assistance to overall Volunteer Service Program.


  • Work with multidisciplinary team to plan, organize, and offer youth and family volunteer opportunities.

  • Partner with supporting congregations, the neighboring community, faith-based organizations, schools and the United Way to recruit youth and family volunteers.

  • Interview, screen, and process youth and family volunteer applications.

  • Plan, organize and carry-out youth and family volunteer orientations and educational programs using a variety of resources and materials.

  • Prepare youth and family volunteer schedules and assignments.

  • Work in partnership with Communication staff to publicize youth and family volunteer service through Luther Manor publications and other appropriate media.

  • Plan, organize and carry-out meaningful volunteer recognition programs to acknowledge the contributions of youth and family volunteers as well as assisting with overall volunteer recognition programs.

  • Collaborate with Director of Volunteer Services regarding department requests for volunteer services and scheduling substitute volunteers as needed.

  • Maintain accurate Volunteer Service department records utilizing Volunteer database and other necessary Volunteer Service forms and clerical correspondence.

  • Participate in mandatory and beneficial in-services and meetings as requested.

  • Other duties as assigned.


  • High School Diploma/GED, or advanced diploma preferre

  • Significant post high school training/experience in a leadership role working with volunteers or employees.

  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with others in person, by phone, e-mail and written word.

  • Ability to do public speaking.

  • Demonstrated ability to lap top computer (computer files management) and work with various software (Microsoft Word)/database programs.

  • Good organizational skills, detail oriented

  • Ability to prioritize duties, multi-task to meet requested deadlines.

  • Good listening skills and ability to problem solve.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Physical ability to perform essential job functions.

  • Possess ability to work cooperatively with people of culturally diverse backgrounds.

Serve as the main point of contact for the field service team and the customers they support. This role will require outstanding customer service skills, excellent communication with internal and external customers, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to ensure seamless service delivery to our customers. This position will report into a functional manager with a dotted line reporting relation to the DOS in the region. Essential Responsibilities:1. Handle inbound and outbound calls from regional customer and field personnel to ensure timely service delivery 2. Manage multiple dispatching queues and ensure timely closure or escalation of all dispatches 3. Customer Escalation support for the vendor call center 4. Proactive scheduling of preventative maintenance service activities 5. Facilitate the timely dispatching of Field Service Engineers including the management of schedules, on-call/standby 6. Record customer feedback and complaint information in compliance with quality requirements 7. Management of assets team assignments in Siebel 8. Escalate customer feedback regarding products and services Qualifications/Requirements:1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position. 2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines. 3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required. 4. Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare HIPPA Guidelines, NEMA Regulations, etc.) and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int'l and/or local Law is broken. 5. Knowledge and understanding of all Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, GE Healthcare Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int'l and/or local Law is broken. 6. Ownership of contract entry quality to ensure accuracy, configuration integrity and that all requirements are tied to documented customer inputs. 7. Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System. 1. Associate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or related discipline and minimum one year of customer service experience; or a High School diploma/GED and five or more years of customer service experience. 2. High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, Access). 3. Minimum two years' experience working with Microsoft Excel. 4. Ability to communicate using local language. 5. Strong focus on customer care and satisfaction. 6. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines and commitments. Desired Characteristics:1. Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent training and work experience 2. Three years experience in a customer service environment 3. Strong computer system knowledge and working ability including the following applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, Windows, Siebel and Oracle 4. Work schedule within business hours of operation supporting regional alignment with potential for overtime as needed 5.
