We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator or Volunteer Services Coordinator to:
Meet with leadership to review volunteer programs and identify areas of improvement. Collect and utilize operational and benchmarking data to recommend targets for improvement
Assist with defining, implementing and maintaining service standards and quality control procedures in our Volunteer Services division.
Participate in the interview, selection and orientation process for volunteers. Work closely with staff to ensure effective utilization of volunteers.
Utilize volunteer database to prepare appropriate reports and conduct surveys to evaluate volunteer program operational and fiscal performance.
Preferred Bachelors degree in Social Work, Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare, Education or related field.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Ability to independently research issues and make effective recommendations using critical thinking skills.
Effective analytical ability to solve complex problems and issues
Competent in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with diverse groups of people
Sedentary: Ability to lift up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one, which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.
This is a full time, 40 hours per week, position with shifts scheduled Monday
Friday between the hours of 8:00 am
4:30 pm. Hours may vary based on the needs of the department.
