Responsibilities: The Volunteer Placement Specialist has primary responsibility for the overseeing, tracking and follow up of volunteer job training checklists.

The Volunteer Placement Specialist also serves as the first #face# of Volunteer Services for visitors and handles requests for information about the department via phone inquiries. Responsibilities include interacting with individuals of various age groups.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.

General office practices, knowledge of wordprocessing programs. Previous experience in an office setting or college appropriate courses required.

VIEW JOBS 5/29/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-08-27T00:00 Reporting to the Manager of Interventional Angiography/Cardiac Cath Lab Services, the Cardiovascular Specialist is an integrated position consisting of team members with the following certification or licensure:# Registered Radiology Technologist (RTR), or Registered Nurse (RN).# The team member is expected to perform a variety of specialized invasive cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures that assist in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of cardiovascular disease.# The duties of the Cardiovascular Specialist are limited by licensure and state regulations where applicable.# The incumbent will function in accordance with the mission and values of University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health. Education # Training:# Successful completion of an accredited Nursing program. Must possess a current Maryland RN license. BLS required. ACLS required within 90 days. Work Orientation # Experience:## One year experience in a Critical Care setting.# Newly employed specialists may require up to 6 months of job orientation, training, and competency assessments to perform the full range of duties assigned to the Cardiovascular Specialist. Skills # Abilities:# Visual and hearing abilities sufficient for observing and### interpreting technical information provided by a variety of equipment displays, graphic and written sources; sufficient for receiving and understanding job related verbal technical and medical instructions in a busy radiology environment.# Ability to steadily perform radio logic procedures in the presence of critically injured or critically ill patients, highly anxious family members, multiple physician requests, and changing supervisory requirements necessary to serve the patients.
