Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Corps Coordinator will oversee Enterprise Wide Volunteer Corps. Responsible for planning, scheduling and attending or assigning a lead for all Volunteer Events throughout San Antonio. Responsible for working with regional representatives to schedule Volunteer Events in other regions. Assist with the creation of new initiatives to recruit, recognize, and retain volunteers. Responsible for all VC gear and distribution (t-shirts, jackets, gear packs, etc.). Responsible for all VC rewards and distribution. Responsible for maintaining both VC platform and Gyft platform. Responsible for 2 Volunteer Extravaganzas (Fall and Spring). Coordinates with Marketing and Missions Baseball on Used Car Give Away and Shirt off Our Back Night. Loads all hours for Community Campaign Champions (Food Campaigns, Pack a Backpack, CMN, United Way). Tracks all volunteer rewards and provides timely reporting to HR/payroll. . Resolves matters regarding any discrepancies or issues with volunteer rewards Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization's Values.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Communications, Marketing, or Community Development or equivalent experience. Previous experience working with volunteers and non-profits preferred, must possess strong communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to follow through on commitments.
