Samaritans Purse is looking for a OCC Volunteer Coordinator Associate who will provide compassionate care and exemplary support to our staff and volunteers located in eight (8) processing centers with Operation Christmas Child (OCC). You have a unique ability to promptly respond to inquiries from OCC staff members and volunteers while keeping all data systems up to date. A day in the life of a OCC Volunteer Coordinator Associate:

At Samaritans Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.

In the role of OCC Volunteer Coordinator Associate, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him

• Review volunteer applications and provide needed information to OCC Domestic staff to ensure placement

• Respond to unique inquiries from OCC Volunteers and Staff, conducting research as needed to find resolutions

• Communicate with volunteers concerning their Processing Center placement, including travel booking, shift assignments, and relevant documentation

• Consistently update all data systems, ensuring that all information reflects current status of volunteer placement project

• Serve on the Workforce Management support team, handling calls and inquiries from Processing Centers nationwide during Processing Center (PC) season

• Provide general administrative support to the entire Strategic Organization Initiative (SOI) team

• Follow policies and procedures of Samaritan's Purse as set forth in the Policy Manual

• Attend daily morning devotions and participate in prayer support for the ministry, donors and volunteers

• Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public

• All other duties as assigned
