WHAT IS THE VOLUNTARY RELOCATION PROGRAM (VRP)? The Voluntary Relocation Program (VRP) is a negotiated process which affords current Bargaining Unit employees the opportunity to relocate to a Post of Duty (POD) to a position that is the same as their home position of record, same grade, series and PD. Relocation must be an exact position match, the program does not allow for promotion or change to lower grades.

Responsibilities

Applicants will ONLY be referred for positions that are same as their home position of record, same grade, series and PD. There is no promotion potential under the Voluntary Relocation Program. Applicants will ONLY be referred for locations which they wish to be considered. Applicants can request a copy of the position description if selected under this program.

Employees who apply after October 22,2018 will be considered following the next cutoff dates (July 22, 2019 through December 31, 2019). For more information, see Article 15, Section 6 of the 2019 National Agreement

The Program Manager works with existing and new software, develop and deliver training curriculum and work closely w/ multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper adherence and execution to the Global Process. The Program Manager identify trends, challenge project assumptions and influence product management teams to deliver high quality products to our key customers and markets. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: * Responsible for maintaining and further enhancing the Watts Global New Product Development Process including content and deliverables, software enhancement and training program. * Educate our Global New Product Community on the Stage Gate Process through maintenance of internal SharePoint sites, development and deliverable of training curriculum and training sessions. * Consolidate all New Product Development key statistics on a monthly basis for the entire organization including product idea funnel and projects under development. Monitor and maintain solid detailed documentation for all key New Products under development working across platforms and regions * Creates and maintains monthly and quarterly financial analyses for new products in key identified regions. Support the execution of New Product Development and New Product Ideas monthly review and approval meetings and preparation towards these sessions. * Stay up to date on key trends on technology, product development process and industry best practices. * Maintains a Product Roadmap including product lifecycle of current products, derivatives of existing products and definition of new products to support current and future plans. * Manages information flow for key projects with internal stakeholders. * Other duties as they arise. EDUCATION: * Bachelor Degree in Business/Marketing or Engineering MANAGEMENT: * No direct reports QUALIFICATIONS: * 5+ years of New Product Development experience either in a marketing or design engineering role. * Program Management or Project Management certification is a plus * Technical or industry related sales experience is a plus * High level of time management/project and task completion proficiency * Outstanding oral and written communication proficiency. * Ability to multi-task in a fast moving environment. * Ability to work in well in a team environment. * Good leadership skills. * Excellent Microsoft Office skills. * Ability to travel 20% of the time. * PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
