WHAT IS THE VOLUNTARY RELOCATION PROGRAM (VRP)? The Voluntary Relocation Program (VRP) is a negotiated process which affords current Bargaining Unit employees the opportunity to relocate to a Post of Duty (POD) to a position that is the same as their home position of record, same grade, series and PD. Relocation must be an exact position match, the program does not allow for promotion or change to lower grades.

Applicants will ONLY be referred for positions that are same as their home position of record, same grade, series and PD. There is no promotion potential under the Voluntary Relocation Program. Applicants will ONLY be referred for locations which they wish to be considered. Applicants can request a copy of the position description if selected under this program.

Employees who apply after October 22,2018 will be considered following the next cutoff dates (July 22, 2019 through December 31, 2019). For more information, see Article 15, Section 6 of the 2019 National Agreement

Job Description: Operations has an immediate need for a talented leader to lead the IAMD Program Operations team. This team is the liaison between the various Operations Value Streams and the Finance/PMO/Patriot product line, responsible for operations planning and execution of hardware across numerous product lines. This role also leads IAMD Operations for all Domestic and International visits. Role serves as a member of the IDS Operations and IAMD Leadership Teams and has direct responsibility and approval authority for $324M of IAMD Manufacturing Labor Sales in support of the total IAMD Business AOP of $2.8B. This role collaborates with and drives alignment between Execution Operations and the Patriot Product line to ensure that all program needs are integrated and supported to meet program cost, schedule, and quality commitments. Results will be accomplished through influencing senior leaders. Responsibilities include: * Strategic Operations Program Planning & Coordination for current production performance and future contract pursuits driving quality and performance for hardware deliveries. * Operations Budget Development & Management, initial budget and quarterly Estimate at Complete Assessments signature authority for IAMD Operations. (appx $1B). * Direct mitigation responsibility for schedule, cost and quality issues impacting IAMD product execution. * Occasional engagements with external domestic and international customers. * Daily interface with and influence of all supporting functions (Engineering, Mission Assurance, Supply Chain), as well as the Operations team that drives process improvements and modernization initiatives across Value Streams, functional groups and external suppliers. * Lead team comprised of 30 managers and experienced professionals, defining clear operational priorities and goals. * Operations Lead and approval authority for the Operations elements of IAMD Proposals in support of actual/forecasted Contract Bookings totaling more than $6.6B in 2018. Operations lead for the incorporation of solid state and digital upgrades to the Patriot GEM-T Missile, and transition to production for the LTAMDS Radar design. * Interface at executive levels across IDS, as well as with senior leadership of customers. This position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
