WHAT IS THE VOLUNTARY RELOCATION PROGRAM (VRP)? The Voluntary Relocation Program (VRP) is a negotiated process which affords current Bargaining Unit employees the opportunity to relocate to a Post of Duty (POD) to a position that is the same as their home position of record, same grade, series and PD. Relocation must be an exact position match, the program does not allow for promotion or change to lower grades.

Responsibilities

Applicants will ONLY be referred for positions that are same as their home position of record, same grade, series and PD. There is no promotion potential under the Voluntary Relocation Program. Applicants will ONLY be referred for locations which they wish to be considered. Applicants can request a copy of the position description if selected under this program.

Employees who apply after October 22,2018 will be considered following the next cutoff dates (July 22, 2019 through December 31, 2019). For more information, see Article 15, Section 6 of the 2019 National Agreement

VIEW JOBS 11/6/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-04T00:00 Job Location: United States : Rhode Island : Warwick     Role Value Proposition:  Countrywide Pricing supports profitable growth through strategic, disciplined, and data-driven pricing.  The Actuarial Analyst is responsible for gathering, organizing, and analyzing data in order to complete rate indications and other actuarial studies which inform pricing decisions for the business.  They will be exposed to multiple business areas, all while learning traditional and non-traditional pricing techniques.   This person will work under the supervision of the Manager of Pricing, Small Commercial.  The team consists of highly motivated individuals working in a collaborative environment to create, implement, and manage MetLife commercial products.  Our approach is focused on execution, growth and speed to market.    Key Responsibilities: * Participates in the Actuarial Development Program. * Queries and organizes data. * Develops rate indications and other actuarial studies. * Integrates new actuarial methodologies and techniques. * Streamlines, enhances, and automates current processes and workflow.   Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: Required: * Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or other related discipline. * 0-4 years of insurance industry experience. * Successful completion of 1 or more actuarial exams.
