WHAT IS THE VOLUNTARY RELOCATION PROGRAM (VRP)? The Voluntary Relocation Program (VRP) is a negotiated process which affords current Bargaining Unit employees the opportunity to relocate to a Post of Duty (POD) to a position that is the same as their home position of record, same grade, series and PD. Relocation must be an exact position match, the program does not allow for promotion or change to lower grades.

Responsibilities

Applicants will ONLY be referred for positions that are same as their home position of record, same grade, series and PD. There is no promotion potential under the Voluntary Relocation Program. Applicants will ONLY be referred for locations which they wish to be considered. Applicants can request a copy of the position description if selected under this program.

Employees who apply after October 22,2018 will be considered following the next cutoff dates (July 22, 2019 through December 31, 2019). For more information, see Article 15, Section 6 of the 2019 National Agreement

The Assistant Program Coordinator serves as a role model to other staff and provides direct supervision to the overnight staff. The schedule for this position typically runs Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thurday between 7am and 11pm, depending on the needs of the program. ResponsibilitiesProvide orientation, training, direct supervision and evaluation to the overnight staff.Assist the Program Coordinator in the general running of the program.Assist the Program Coordinator in the management of the petty cash, individuals' funds, program schedule and the Medication Administration Program systems.Assume Program Coordinator responsibilities in the absence of the Program Coordinator.Assist the Program Coordinator to develop program structures and routines which promote a therapeutic milieu which fosters growth and development for all.Assist the Program Coordinator in the completion of all Assessments, Individualized Action Plans, Service Notes and Periodic Reviews according to prescribed timelines.Responsible for the implementation of high quality rehabilitation according to each persons Individualized Action Plan.Assist in the collection of all rehabilitation billing.Collaborate with Individuals Served, Licensed Clinician, Registered Nurse, and other members of the team in the implementation and monitoring of any self management and health and wellness plans and activities.Facilitate and monitor the implementation of activities that create opportunities for the development of valued roles and personal relationships in the community.Assist individuals to perform daily routines as needed.Develop and monitor the implementation of all procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well being of individuals served.Develop and monitor all procedures that ensure the physical safety and cleanliness of the program.Assist people to access, and/or provide, all needed transportation.Participate in supervision, team, and other assigned meetings.Review and complete all required documentation.Communicate all pertinent information to all stakeholders.Attend and participate in all internal and external trainings as assigned.Acquire and maintain all required certifications.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Social Services with residential and administrative experience preferred.
