WHAT IS THE VOLUNTARY RELOCATION PROGRAM (VRP)? The Voluntary Relocation Program (VRP) is a negotiated process which affords current Bargaining Unit employees the opportunity to relocate to a Post of Duty (POD) to a position that is the same as their home position of record, same grade, series and PD. Relocation must be an exact position match, the program does not allow for promotion or change to lower grades.

Applicants will ONLY be referred for positions that are same as their home position of record, same grade, series and PD. There is no promotion potential under the Voluntary Relocation Program. Applicants will ONLY be referred for locations which they wish to be considered. Applicants can request a copy of the position description if selected under this program.

Employees who apply after October 22,2018 will be considered following the next cutoff dates (July 22, 2019 through December 31, 2019). For more information, see Article 15, Section 6 of the 2019 National Agreement

VIEW JOBS 10/30/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-28T00:00 POSITION: L4GA Program Manager (49%) LOCATION: Albany High Complex QUALIFICATIONS: * Master's degree or higher in education, education administration, finance, public policy or a related field. * Three years of full-time professional experience administering a large-scale grant program at a school district, state agency, federal agency, for profit organization, or not for profit organization. * Have experience with conducting program evaluations or audits or conducting comprehensive research and preparing reports. * Experience in developing and providing professional learning in both electronic and face-to-face formats. * Experience in managing educational budgets. * Have school or district level expertise in all aspects of the school improvement process. * Experience in working with adult learners. * Experience managing educational contracts and grants. * Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. * Additional computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint). * Demonstrated progressive success in designing, managing, and/or implementing school reform. * Experience troubleshooting qualitative and quantitative data anomalies. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to identify and implement appropriate solutions. * Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop a district project management plan to include milestones, timelines and responsible personnel. * Structure the work of the L4GA implementation teams. * Analyze the district's scope of work to determine alignment with state's scope of work, potential for success, and capacity for district to implement activities. * Implement processes and procedures to assess the quality of program implementation of the district's scope of work and its alignment with the district's strategic plan. * Conduct onsite monitoring of L4GA schools and providing feedback and support to improve implementation. * Collect, summarizing, and analyzing progress data and providing feedback to district staff, Superintendent, local board, and community stakeholders. * Submit budget and other reports in a timely manner. * Design and conducting technical assistance/training based on assessment of district's needs. * Participate in all state-wide required meetings, training, and professional development. * Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.
