The Voice Recorder records telephone scripts for Loma Linda University Health's automated telephone system on a regular (typically weekly) basis, as requested by leadership. Conforms to accepted professional standards for telephony recordings, and provides recordings in MP3 format, via email.

Is responsible for providing clear and consistent voice recordings for Loma Linda University Health and will correct any reading, vocal delivery, or technical errors as soon as possible. Performs other duties as mutually agreed upon.

High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum one year experience with voice recording equipment and software required.

Knowledge of voice recording equipment and software required. Able to read, write and speak with professional quality; use computer and software programs necessary to the position, e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Access; operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position.

Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; provide leadership; be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; work independently; perform basic math and statistical functions; manage multiple assignments; compose written material; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.

Ability to use, [and navigate between], various types of office automation equipment and software (i.e. computer systems, web based scheduling programs; insurance collection system; scanning software, multiple line phone systems; electronic faxing programs) to support patient care. 3. Skill in recording patient messages and understanding physician requests pertaining to follow-up medical care in internal or external clinics.
