MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 8 years related experience in telephone systems/software, voice engineering (hardware and software), and designing/planning/implementing voice systems.
  • 6 years experience with automated call distribution (ACD) technology.
  • 6 years experience in VoIP or voice network engineering.
  • Thorough knowledge of Voice Over IP systems, as well as legacy telephony switches and analog devices.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with service requestors to gather requirements for telephony systems design.
  • Proven ability to work and build rapport with vendors for the purpose of acquiring supplies and services in support of company voice systems
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following:
  • Successful development and implementation of new technologies and work processes
  • *

    • High competency in project management and the execution of multiple or large projects, with experience in cross-functional environments
    • Strategic thinking
    • Multidisciplinary, high-performance work teams/groups
    • Developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems

  • Advanced technical skills covering computer networks, hardware, Windows Server, Windows desktop operating systems, DOS commands, batch scripts, wide range of PC products and practices and procedures used in IT support roles.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with IT infrastructure, data networks, voice systems, Telco, Active Directory, , PC and/or business systems, concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of PSE applications/procedures and processes (REMEDY, Visio, ISR’s, Budget, Change Control, PSE Cable Management Database).
  • Proficiency with Cisco IOS commands, software upgrades and with basic network switching and routing topologies.
  • Proficiency with VoIP system protocols, including QOS.

This is a full-time position, located at Warren, MI that is contingent on government contract/funding. Duties: Candidate will be responsible for providing engineering guidance, calculations, analysis, studies and recommendations for a specialized segment of engineering within schedule and budget of an assigned project. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Review and evaluate System Security Plans (SSPs), System Security Authorization Agreements (SSAAs), systems and networks diagrams, Security Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs), Risk Assessments, and associated Information Systems (IS) Certification and Accreditation (C&*A) documents in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), National and Agency standards; * Observe, evaluate, and document IS security certification testing and prepare Security Certification Test Reports (SCTRs) with findings and recommendations regarding systems; Approval To Operate (ATO). * Inspect systems, networks, sites for compliance to InfoSec standards and policies. Additional duties include producing periodic progress reports, preparing various forms of correspondence concerning deficiencies and statuses of SSPs/SSAAs, maintaining and reporting statistics on personal C&A efforts. * Use knowledge and Experience of DoD, IC, and National Security Policies, Regulations, Directives, and Instructions. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Science, or related technical field (related and relevant cyber technical certificates and/or IT management credentials will be considered) * 5-12 years of experience in network engineering * Experience with Ethernet, CAN, CAN-FD, and LIN * Familiarity with network analysis tools, such as Symtavision, CANalyzer and CANoe * Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills, including the ability to readily decompose complex problems into smaller, manageable tasks * Excellent communication/interpersonal skills * Secret clearance Desired Qualifications: * Masters preferred * Experience leading and directing the work of others. * Top Secret clearance Security Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
